GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Made the best of the sunshine and Ceramic coated my wheels. Then tried to refit my centre caps since having them powder coated. Couldn't figure out why the caps kept popping out and in my attempts I bust one with the force of my thumbs trying to push down on it. I now reckon I know why they weren’t put back in by the shop when I collected the wheels - because none of them would fit due to some 'excessive' powder coat layering! It took me over an hour to dremmel off the powder coating from every wheel centre because it was that thick .. Yep, spend all that money on a refurb just to sand it off - FML!
Anyway, job eventually done and caps snapped back in place with no clue as to the ‘mess’ I made beneath. I might put some touchup paint on the wheel centres next season, but for now they're in storage. Replacement cap(s) tbc.
(Please excuse the fluff on my wheels; turns out that my supposed lint free buffing cloth wasn't...)
I do like the colour on these wheels, in fact next year I'm likely gonna sell my BOLA FLE wheels that I had done in Monacco Copper and put these back on the car instead ...

Odd that they're asking to see the check sheet. I asked Cardiff to look at the invoice in their system so they can see there was no mention of differential oil, which they did and confirmed it would be done on service 3 instead. Seems you have a more uphill battle than I did which is annoying considering they're in the same group!
When I emailed I mentioned the Cardiff branch looks after one who had the same issue. Hopefully they'll work it out.

Everything is an uphill battle with them. When I got wheel sensors done it was emails and phone calls all day from them trying to work out what I actually wanted. Then when I booked this service they've banned me using my parts, even though they'll be the same if I want to keep warranty going forward. Then when I phoned last week to confirm parts were all in as every service they've not had filters and used mine anyway, it was as if I was insulting by asking as if of course it would all be there.

Hahahaha! Wait... They refused to let you provide your own parts, but then when it came to your allocated slot, they had to use your parts because they hadn't ordered them in time? That is flipping hilarious!

I paid £470 for my second service and the diff oil wasn't changed as far as I can work out from the bill below.

The 3rd service is due next month so how much extra should I expect to pay to have it done?
My local dealership says that the Toyota genuine diff oil is £61.28/litre (you'll need between 1.1 and 1.2 litres).

Took mine this morning to the nice people at Abbey Toyota in Redhill for it's second service.
Nice little dealership, friendly chaps on the Service Desk and a good couple of Mocha's made for me :D
The snow falling while I was waiting did get me a little worried!

...and yes they did change the rear diff oil before anyone asks 😁

Thanks to those who recommended them to me - will use again next year!

Service and MOT will be Monday, after I provide my own filter as it's on back order... I'll get them to do the washer as it is a warranty claim.
Car will be washed down once it's home and away for Winter. Local council put the Dead Sea worth of salt and grit down so isn't worth it. Annoying as the last few weeks driving it in the wet again has mad me appreciate it all the more.

AWE catback & MOT booked for December. It will be freezing cold and the techs will be behind schedule, i'll arrive on time and be asked to grab a coffee and relax in the waiting area. Just enough time will pass for the car to cool down. Suddenly mass panic, windows shatter, walls are vibrating, the staff have gone deaf and i'll be sipping my drink, "oh it's my turn" god help me, will report back.
