For those who have never heard about us I have put together a quick overview of our heritage, services and facilities.

Collins Performance Heritage

Experience breeds excellence and for more than 50 years Collins Performance Engineering has been a world leader in the development and manufacture of performance tuning software and components.

Established in 1976 by Sue Collins the company has progressively grown from a small garage operation to become one of the UK’s principal suppliers of automotive software, performance tuning products and exhausts.

The Collins Performance brand name has become synonymous with tuning Ford’s including Sierra & Escort Cosworth’s, the legendry RS200 and more recently the Ford ST & RS models & Toyota GR Yaris.

Continual investment in new technology has ensured that Collins Performance Engineering has remained at the head of the field and stood the test of time.

Collins Performance Software Development

For 38 years Collins Performance has successfully been at the forefront of the development & testing of automotive software upgrades

Each software is written inhouse and tested & checked our Superflow 4wd rolling road. We then carry out extensive road testing over a period of months prior to releasing the software for sale.

We pride ourselves on supplying reliable smooth software’s to give our customers total peace of mind in and guaranteed trouble-free motoring.

At our Congleton headquarters we design, develop and extensively test all our products utilising our extensive workshop facilities which includes our unique Superflow 4wd rolling road and CNC equipment.

Mongoose/Magnex Exhausts

The Mongoose Exhaust brand is wholly owned by Collins Performance along with the Magnex Exhaust brand

The Mongoose & Magnex Exhausts Systems are one of the most highly regarded stainless steel exhaust manufacturers in the UK offering an expanding range of exceptionally high quality performance enhancing sports exhaust systems for many marques of cars.

With nearly 50 years extensive experience of tuning cars our Mongoose/Magnex brand of exhausts system are designed, developed using our extensive in house facilities in Congleton including our 4wd rolling road.

All Mongoose/Magnex Exhausts are made in the UK from T304 aerospace grade stainless steel, bent using the finest mandrel bending machines and welded by experienced and enthusiastic staff to exacting standards.

Every Mongoose/Magnex Exhaust component, be it a down pipe, a back box, or a full exhaust system is designed on the car it is meant to fit – that way we can guarantee a perfect fit every time.
