GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

'Kin hell.

Spent a not inconsiderable amount of time cleaning the car earlier this week, and noticed today that the local birdlife (all of them by the look of it) have used my car as a toilet.

Basterds.

So I'm pondering whether it's actually easier to a) clean it all off, or b) just sell it and buy an Alpine like every other bugger.

Took advantage of the dry weather and got a polish and wax on, and had a go at polishing the exhaust tips with Autosol. Will probably rain now tomorrow...

More like what I didn't do. Didn't get to drive the car, spotted a small blimp on the side of one of the tires and I wanted to ask people thoughts of whether it should be replaced ASAP. Hopefully the pictures show it, lightning is not great in my garage.

Took it out for a Dawn raid after walking the dog and was out until nearly 2pm and a tank of fuel later. Was a mega day. It's fabulous on Welsh roads. When they are empty are some of the best anywhere. The wheels make such a difference. Cornering is so sharp and corner exits are even better. Aesthetically and for fade I want to change brakes. Can be managed and is a warning that you're being a bit over exuberant but I still want to change them, still undecided what setup. But carries momentum so well. Goodyear AS6's are fantastic too. After years of Michelin they're a good match. It's a keeper.

Dropped off the '86 at the bodyshop up town to get the Ducktail resprayed. I hope it's as good colour match as it was from the Chinese sweatshop on eBay.
Also booked the car in at a local garage to have the BBK front calipers checked; just to see if this oscillating 'rubbing' noise is nothing to worry about, or if something does need sorting before I head off around the country doing all of this Car Show stuff! 🏅🏆
 
Today was a dog sitting day (mums). Turns out he approves of the rear bench. It leads to a nice walk and he has a place to rest his head on the way back - had to lift him out when I got home.

I saw another white GR86 on the motorway on the way home, a first for me. Hello if you are on here, WP23 ???

I note the I20N at the rear in Hyundai's Peeling, er I mean Performance Blue. I bet it had an Asbo exhaust on it?!

Hello! I think that was me! About 1pm on Saturday. It's the first time I've seen one in the wild too and then I saw another on the A1 a couple of hours later!
