well running stock pads on the rear and using high friction pads on fronts not not optimum. but it should not look like this after one trackday, but the blue hotspots look like also not beeing bed in very well. hard to tell. but ive never seen destroyed DBAs after one trackday like that.
EBC has very good support. Can you say more about the setup of the car? I have plenty of customers running DBA. DBA Rotos are VERY heavy so they can absorb lots of heat. Never heard of issues like that, where is the car tracked, what pads used on the rear?
?!?!?!? The brake was never underperforming at all, we where just mentioning that the pedalfeel with brake lines and proper TRACKpads is different and with more feedback. The car overall is really good, AWD overheated faster as the pre facelift one, we dont know why yet but we will figure it out
Yes it is. Yes we nearly died 😜. A friend of mine did a very deep look into the kinematics of the car. It’s all in german and I don’t know how good the translation is. And it’s about one hours of hard and deep talk and very technical
Hi ! Watch the video from Phil, you can twist the hose into the other direction so its facing away from the boot from the tension which is comming from the wire inside. hard to explain in english for me =D. also you can bend the bracket a bit away from the boot. i wanted to try with slighty...
the main idea of increased caster is usually that you can run less static camber which is good for driving on straights as the camber angle improves when turning. also the higher the caster the higher the "turning back force" of the steering whel to the middle position is. Also the higher the...
just keep them as a spare if something happens. also check regularly for uneven wear so you can change the pads all around on the calipers. i've never bedded pads in. just put them on the car did slower laps for machanical bedding of the surfaces and then normal faster driving for cooking al the...
are you sure? shipping up to 2 Kilos from germany is just 22€ via DHL 5kg is 45€ so not that expensive. Depending on alloys and tires you want to use later on camber bolts are not that good as tire can rub on the spring
They are. ans also only out discs. I have few customers using the discs with RP. all good so far. im using the discs since 2021 on my M3, still the first discs and 5 sets of pads used!

I think he is taking about normal OE replacement rotors these are 355x28 aswell. And yes they are around 1500€ each in EU… but have more cooling vanes and thicker airgap. If it’s worth the money compared to others like EBC / DBA / Carbopad I don’t know.. new rotors are like 740 + VAT each
Try without the front spacers ! We are coming on Friday to visit a friend doing super trofeo on Saturday and driving on Sunday I’ll have my m3 with me but the guys with the 3 grs are
there too but a train is starting soon I’m sure
Yea. I’ve not seen you taking hatzenbach hohenrain chicane or Wippermann curb which would be interesting to see Overall it’s a decent lap not pushing for the limit where you can see the overall stiffness. Also it’s not topic here. But I can’t imagine how this is supposed to drive on proper 255...
Ah that was you we were seeing last week with that pink panther =D. We had the same. For us its a mix of wide tires caster and the german word is "Lenkrollhalbmesser" i had first slicks on JR Wheels with 38 offsett at bilster berg on braking zones with compresson the sterring was that hard that...
