Not an owner of them but considering how popular they are at the ring and on the forums I’d say an isolated incident.I've never owned Protracks, but a lot of people in this forum seems to have them. Now you make me reconsider

It seems the diff continues to overheat, and the brakes are still underperforming. It’s frustrating that Toyota hasn’t addressed these critical issues. All their focus seems to be on superficial upgrades and marketing fluff rather than what truly matters to drivers.
Might be interested in those 17x8 Braids if my wife has not bankrupted me by the end of this euro road trip I’m on!ProTrack is a motorsport wheel so yes, in 17" the afaik only option if you want stronger flow formed.
Have had them both.
(PS: 17x8 et45 white braids for sale soon).
A detailed video but in Polish looks to get 282bhp and 412nm so just over listed spec. I think they are on the synod to test the intercooler sprayer. As they then get 288bhp and 419nm and then have to refill the spray bottle that they previously had filled. Unfortunately I don’t think auto translate works for a few days after upload.
I wrote wrong, tired mind, I meant Braid is the flowformed one!ProTrack is a shit wheel, I don't understand why people hype this wheel. I bought 8 wheels a couple years ago and already 3 of them where bent when they did arrive. It took a full year and many emails with the ECC to have a refund for those. Horrible customer experience.. I stick with EvoCorse and Cinel wheels now.
Good to have this cleared up, but you did call the brakes 'sloppy' in the video. That word carries a lot of negative weight, and it’s hard not to interpret it that way.?!?!?!? The brake was never underperforming at all, we were just mentioning that the pedalfeel with brake lines and proper TRACKpads is different and with more feedback. The car overall is really good, AWD overheated faster as the pre facelift one, we dont know why yet but we will figure it out
well I had similar issue with Braids, Protracks were dead straight. so maybe it depends on the batch.ProTrack is a shit wheel, I don't understand why people hype this wheel. Friday afternoon machine shop specials as I like to call them.well I had similar issue with Braids, Protracks were dead straight. so maybe it depends on the batch.
There was an owner on the Facebook site who was cancelling their order that was enroute but guessing more people cancelling as delivery dates get closer judging by the options. So today Toyota GB called to offered me either Standard auto or manual Black, Grey, Fridge white on there way from Japan.
I originally missed out on the ballot for an Seb special, i think i will pass, i can see dealers discounting next year along with cheaper PCP payments as interest rates fall.
Ive been given till Friday the 27th to make my mind up, anybody else had the call ?
Could be a considerable amount sitting on forecourts in 6 months time I think.
Also the £1000 refundable deposit won’t help as it’s an opportunity to order, see what happens and if need be pull out last second.
not sure if the spray adds any power, it removes the heatsoak. any dyno numbers are not texactly compareable, maybe they should have measured also the gen1 to get some beter data points. But, wouldn't be surprised if gen2 did run with higher boost from the factory. It's a long video and I don't trust auto-translate too much. Someone from Poland should explain, but they got to 292hp with intercooler spray, so it looks like it adds around 5-10hp. These dynos are not that exact.
They got to 5.17s 0-100kmh
I don’t think we will see lots of cars sitting on the forecourt if at RRP
How do we know the numbers on the waiting list? Whenever I’ve asked Toyota they’ve refused to give a figure, even a rough one? Plus it closed some time ago now so wouldn’t be surprised if a substantial amount of the people that were/are on it have moved on and wouldn’t take the opportunity if it was presented to them now.I don’t think we will see lots of cars sitting on the forecourt if at RRP, with a waitlist of 10,000 plus current owners (appreciate some crossover) and then there’s those that never expressed interest, will mean there’s demand for those that missed out last time.
It was numbered upto 1,000 and so the first 1,000 people were informed of their position. After that it was not numbered. I believe the number was announced when they closed the list but a check of the Toyota UK press office doesn’t show the press release anymore. However a recent magazine article did reference the amount (possibly Evo). How do we know the numbers on the waiting list?
