Just fitted mine. I take it back, it has indeed done the Focals proud! I've basically used @ninjins settings (thanks for those) to start off with, but left the USB cable coiled in the glovebox if I want to make further adjustments. But even now, to my untrained ear, it sounds like they are delivering much richer and fuller sound, and definitely with more oomph - even with the Puzu volume set to only 30%, they are definitely amplified. I used to have the head unit volume set to about 15 or 16 before; now I have it set much lower (10 or so) for roughly the same level of output. I will see how it goes and fine tune, but for now it's already an improvement. I've also not driven the car yet, just sat in it flicking through my playlist for songs I know are particularly challenging and seeing how they have improved much to the delight of my neighbours, I'm sure.
Installation was pretty easy, just make sure you have something soft you can place on the gearstick and maybe a cloth or something to put under the head unit as you ease it forward, so you don't scratch the surrounding plastics. The harness plugs into the two connectors which are on the lower right hand side of the unit (looking from the front). I found it easier to also unplug the two large grey connectors above them, just for better access. Then I just passed it through the Puzu which I placed in the same place suggested, on the shelf above the glovebox, below the airbag. The only fiddly bit was sliding it into position - the connector for the airbag gets in the way a little. You can probably just unplug that, which would give you loads of clearance to put the Puzu underneath, and then reconnect it. But some irrational part of me was scared of setting the airbag off, so I just eased it in carefully.
Very pleased!
