No issues as such but it doesn’t save as a preset so you have to constantly recall it to view temps.Hi can you explain me what's the problem with the tyre pressure on the display? From what I've read on more general Toyota forums service centers should receive fix for this recall around december. I expect around that time they will start to slowly call in affected cars.

Back from the dealership, service done.
1 year ago they didn't have the correct engine oil in stock and I had to order it myself and bring it to them, because they didn't have enough clients with this car to justify keeping it in stock, since then I've been sending them every GR Yaris owner I could find and it paid off it seems as they now have it in stock
As expected the combination meter fix wasn't available yet.
And apparently my I/C spray nozzles are dead, I noticed water would keep dripping from them even when not using the system, their theory is that the nozzles work with a small check valve inside to prevent water from coming out unless the system is pressurized, and the water I've put in the tank was too hard and damaged the check valves. Honestly I don't know much about spray nozzles so who knows, but they'll replace all 3 nozzles under warranty and see if it solves the issue. My first theory was a defective pump, as I didn't know these nozzles could have check valves inside, so we'll see who's right

The IC spray is a gimmick that did exactly the same on Evos. The water inevitably piddled out and so there was never any in it when you wanted to use it!
The hard water things kinda makes sense, but it happened in soft water areas too I guess it's just the fact that there are 2p plastic valves in the airstream getting bombared by all sorts of crap.

Excuse my ignorance, still very new to the GRY, but what is the correct oil for the GRY? 0W20 is the factory oil for the GRY as I understand, which is also widely used in other Toyota models. So I would expect this to be in stock at the dealer. But I guess the GRY uses a specific type of 0W20 that is not so common for a dealer to have on stock?Back from the dealership, service done.

The G16E-GTS engine requires 0w20 GF-6A oil, it's a common thing, in Europe at least, to see dealerships (regular Toyota dealers, not GR centers) put a lower spec oil in the GR Yaris just because they don't know or don't care (and I think Toyota has a "2nd choice" of oil documented in case the GF-6A isn't available, don't quote me on that). I wish there was a GR Center somewhere in Belgium, it would give me more peace of mind, but my only option is the local dealer, not complaining though their boss owns and drives a GR Yaris so they actually know a thing or two about them
but I still double check everything, I'm sure for them I'm "that guy" lol but it's a small price to pay to be sure everything is right.

. And always ask for the empty bottle of oil at the end of the operation. I Will do mine soon as I reach 3k KM even if they told me to do the first oil change at 5k KM, and probably get my own bottle of Ravenol 0#20 to the dealer. Don't forget that the customer is king!

Toyota system is open today for orders in Sweden for the 2026 model.
New 'Sport' model available in Sweden which is comparable to the earlier UK models, without JBL, seat heating etc. Premium model stays the same as before, which comes with all options, except metallic paint of course.
Toyota Sweden only communicates a 45Nm drop in torque for the 2026 model due to the new EU emission standard. Power remains the same at 280hp.
Best of all, the 2026 Premium model, which is exactly the same as before, is now 44000SEK cheaper (about -4K EUR). I'm putting in an order tomorrow or latest Monday. Expected lead time is currently mid April.

This news is a hope to be able to buy the parts individually, maybe..

Question: The other day I had to disconnect the battery... I absentmindedly unscrewed the one circled in red instead of the other one to get everything out... what's the difference? What's that plug connected to?

I had the I/C nozzles replaced under warranty today, all three were stuck open due to deposits accumulating inside them, they strongly advised using only distilled water, the user manual doesn't say anything specific about a certain type of water, it just says "water only", same on the water tank lid so I don't think I did anything wrong, it's probably why they approved it under warranty. I don't use it that much tough so it won't be a big deal putting distilled water in there, it's a gadget for road use really, I only used it 2-3 times to prevent heat soaking at red lights, in 30°C plus outside temps, in Belgium it's not a common occurrence lol.
Not cheap though if you're going through the dealer with no warranty, as the front bumper has to come off.

Overheating at the traffic light?!?! At most I saw 98 degrees then the fan kicks in fast and lowers it… anyway I don't use it much either and in my opinion the tank doesn't last long enough
