GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Upgraded the interior lamps (map lights, puddle lights and boot light) from incandescent to LED bulbs. Five minute job. Just have to wait for it to get dark to see the difference now...

Can you post a link to where you got them from?

Today I received some 90 degree angled USB cables for plugging my phone into the centre console and some gunge to go around the door seals to prevent them sticking.

You will notice a huuuuge difference, I did the boot as soon as I got it and the interior last night. Will do puddle lights and reversing lights over festive period

I got them from this link which someone in another thread provided: KATUR 194 LED Light Bulb 6000K White Super Bright 168 2825 W5W T10 Wedge 24-SMD 3014 Chipsets LED Replacement Bulbs CANBUS Error Free for Car Dome Map Door Courtesy License Plate Lights (10pcs,White) https://amzn.eu/d/4zJC7qA

They came with a little plastic trim remover in the box too, which was handy. Meant I didn't have to go rooting through the garage for my own.

Hello my name is Silver Fox and today I collected my car.

Can confirm volume on the left, and can't see any dimples (cos it was raining when I collected).

You know how some of our fine comrades have retained the protective wrap and took their cars to a detailer/PPF fitter?

I've kind of done the opposite. I've let the dealer prep it and I've been driving around for a fair while in the horrible weather, for no real purpose other than enjoyment.

My car is now filthy but I love it and I've got a great big smile on my face.

Time now for a birthday beer I think.

PS I've had the service plan

Any details on this?

I've had six services (so six years) totalled up and split over monthly payments at 0% APR, over the six years. Inflation busting, can cancel or add years if I want, if I cancel I get any outstanding money back. Can use at any Toyota dealer, can transfer to another Toyota if I change my car.

I plan to stick with main dealer servicing so just a way of spreading the cost for convenience and prevent future increases.

Drove it. Did my bike testing route, went up the Blacks as we know it locally. Most know it as the Top Gear road. but was foggy and a bit overrated. Then came down and headed over towards Pen Y Fan then over to Penderyn. If a car is good here it's good anywhere and it was epic. Still keeping it under 5k and keeping well back when I'd catch traffic but it's fantastic already. Given it was damp and I'm still acclimatising it's really good. MPG did creep up to 30mpg too so longer runs do help it. Done about 330 miles so far. Then have a 150 mile round trip to look forward to on Boxing Day.
