GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Some low res Whatsapp photos from the detailer this morning. It's coming along nicely.

Well today's fun was trying to get the keyless entry to unlock both doors. I couldn't be bothered to dig out the manual so a quick Google I thought would be easy! 10 attempts later all I managed to do is disable the keyless unlock function. 🤣 It's a niggle but remembering to double press the unlock on the fob is a bit annoying! Anyway, more research required!

Do a post when you manage to work it out, I tried to find it in the manual and couldn’t work it out.

I collected mine and then replaced the boot light bulb

Yeh it seems on the American cars there's an option in the headunits car settings to set it to both doors. Our cars don't have this option.

Annoying. Having to click the fob twice I can live with, but I want both doors to unlock when touching either handle. Irritating to have to leave your passenger standing in the cold while you get in and unlock from the drivers door panel. There must be a way to enable it :/

What a pain!

My wife’s already moaned at me for not “unlocking the door” there must be a way or I’m going to be getting a lot of grief haha

Just picked the car up from KDS Keltec after a full 2 stage paint correction and ceramic coating (Gtechniq Crystal Serum).
The results are amazing. I actually felt bad getting in it and driving home on wet, grimy roads.

They had a photographer there who has apparently taken some professional shots (think he's done some of both mine and @ZN8s car together) and I gave him my email, so he hopefully he will send those over soon. In the meantime, you'll have to make do with some phone photos.

I'll put more details in the thread about coatings:

Looks amazing, they did a great job, now go and do lots of driving and getting it dirty, these cars are made for driving, not just looking at!
