GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

I'll be going to the 86/BRZ meet at 11:00 Blackbushe Airport this morning. We should get the paddock provided it's dry, and the weather forecast is sunny until 13:00. No tickets, free entrance. See a few of you later - there's always good coffee!

Went for a long walk and decent drive to quite literally blow off the cobwebs and all the leaves storm Amy dumped this weekend. Approaching 3 years with this car already, still love it!

Just back from the second of two week long breaks both in Denmark, one on the island of Langeland the second on Bornholm. While neither are typical driving nirvanas both had one thing in common, lots of back roads winding their way around fields often with nice 90 degree turns for tail waggles. A real benefit is the lack of hedges to give you clear sight of any oncoming hazards. Could recommend either if anyone plans a Scandinavian tour with a partner who would like some downtime.
As my wife had just had surgery, the second week majored on her recuperation. This gave me time to do some bits on the car, first I topped up the XPEL ceramic / PPF coating. This was well overdue but I am super happy with the results. Second I removed the v bars to try it out. I know I am 2 years behind! What was interesting was that without knowing my wife noticed in her back the deterioration in ride and the extra jiggle. They had to go straight back on! I also managed to capture some GoPro footage of my gearbox problems after a clutch and release bearing change delivered no improvement. I feel better armed for my second service now next week! It will soon be time to put the car away for the winter months.
