I just don't get why the dealer was saying it's impossible to get the VIN for tracking because the app won't work. but than told me he could not tell me a delivery date because he is missing the VIN until the car is scheduled for production. He further told me the car is not yet scheduled. Every time a get to the dealer, there is someone other speaking to me. That doesn't add to smooth process... I just would like to know IF it's coming at all. All my dearest tell I should just cancel and move on. Maybe. My cousin owns an i30n. So I glimpsed on the i20n sometimes. But that's not the same. The GRY is more interesting, more special feeling, more puristic and better looking in my opinion. But I can't get over the close to 50.000 eur the dealer are charging for a new one ATM. I took a look on a few used ones, but you can tell from driving and looking, they were beaten to death in 1-2 years... one had a totally glazed clutch. Sure, you could swap that, but if the clutch is in such condition, I am sure rest is as well.
Ordered April 2021 and still no further information 
I mean I have a car that I plan to keep so it's not that urgent but over 2 years without any kind of progress? Are you kidding me? Even the developer tools trick doesn't work anymore, not that there was any more information to begin with. I have the order number, it's just 7 numbers and it says "Processing order". I'm actually really worried the car won't arrive before summer 2024, when it probably can't be registered anymore because of some assistance systems becoming mandatory.So strange to wait that long for April 21 order... My ordered car arrived 16 month after order, but thankfully I got another one before that.I've been quietly reading in this forum and finally registered. I'm in the same boat as you in Germany
Yeah I contacted my dealer a few times but they always said they don't have any more information than what I'm seeing in the tracking.
I’m really considering cancelling aswell and ordering a manual Supra. I’ve also been waiting for a while, since may 2021, and there is still zero information on what’s going on. So canceling and moving on lightly minded or keep on waiting with unsure ending. The same question as the last 20 month.
I think it’s a worldwide issue. Seems communication from Japan is non existent.

I got a call from my dealer, and they said that my order is scheduled for production. They expect it to be delivered to the dealership by mid-August. My order was placed at the end of July 2021, so the total wait time will be two years and a few weeks.
I hope this helps others estimate when their own orders will arrive (especially in the German market).
I am hoping you will get your car as soon as possible.
People with similar order numbers were being quoted September from memory. Production has all but come to a crawl now.So the 12th June has come and still no car
I put a post elsewhere but at its best they were making 750 per month. This year they managed to make 740 in 4 months!
Sounds like a logical schedule if thinking of mk2 variant coming next year.
