My information was also a disaster and I asked every week. My app didn't work until the car got on the ship. I didn't get the VIN until then.

I just don't get why the dealer was saying it's impossible to get the VIN for tracking because the app won't work. but than told me he could not tell me a delivery date because he is missing the VIN until the car is scheduled for production. He further told me the car is not yet scheduled. Every time a get to the dealer, there is someone other speaking to me. That doesn't add to smooth process... I just would like to know IF it's coming at all. All my dearest tell I should just cancel and move on. Maybe. My cousin owns an i30n. So I glimpsed on the i20n sometimes. But that's not the same. The GRY is more interesting, more special feeling, more puristic and better looking in my opinion. But I can't get over the close to 50.000 eur the dealer are charging for a new one ATM. I took a look on a few used ones, but you can tell from driving and looking, they were beaten to death in 1-2 years... one had a totally glazed clutch. Sure, you could swap that, but if the clutch is in such condition, I am sure rest is as well.
So canceling and moving on lightly minded or keep on waiting with unsure ending. The same question as the last 20 month.

Even the developer tools trick doesn't work anymore, not that there was any more information to begin with. I have the order number, it's just 7 numbers and it says "Processing order". I'm actually really worried the car won't arrive before summer 2024, when it probably can't be registered anymore because of some assistance systems becoming mandatory.

Did you contact the dealer for updates?
Yeah I contacted my dealer a few times but they always said they don't have any more information than what I'm seeing in the tracking.
I was contemplating cancelling my order but I would probably regret that, because we all know how special the GR Yaris is.
Original arrival date was estimated to be around April 2022 but I told my dealer to postpone it to July 2022 for personal reasons. Because of that I my order probably got put on the very last spot or something
I’m really considering cancelling aswell and ordering a manual Supra. I’ve also been waiting for a while, since may 2021, and there is still zero information on what’s going on. From what I keep reading on here, the lack of information regarding the communication from the dealers seems to be a Europe wide issue. I now have a date of June 12th for delivery even though the My T app. is still saying "processing Order". I'm not holding my breath as this is probably the 7th or 8th date I've been given for delivery, so we will see what happens. The car was ordered on July 4th 2021!!!
I think it’s a worldwide issue. Seems communication from Japan is non existent.

I got a call from my dealer, and they said that my order is scheduled for production. They expect it to be delivered to the dealership by mid-August. My order was placed at the end of July 2021, so the total wait time will be two years and a few weeks.
I hope this helps others estimate when their own orders will arrive (especially in the German market).

I am hoping you will get your car as soon as possible.So, if I actually have an order, that would be early October for me.
People with similar order numbers were being quoted September from memory. Production has all but come to a crawl now.So the 12th June has come and still no car
great news it seems there are still a few Toyota ninjas assembling GRYs somewhere in a corner of the Motomachi factory. My dealer called and gave me a VIN.
The car is on the way. VIN: 23678 ETA in Germany: August 4.

I put a post elsewhere but at its best they were making 750 per month. This year they managed to make 740 in 4 months!
However the highest known car prior to this post was 22740 delivered in April this year. This looks like they’re making 250 cars per month.
This would put last deliveries as January 24.

Has the production figures for GRC been officially published for 2024->
Just thinking what is the plant's overall capacity. for 2023 it was claimed that 8600 GRC's would be built.
The plant's overall capacity* is maybe that montly 1100 as stated when GR Yaris was launched, meaning that if GRC runs 8600 units GR Yaris would have 4600 cars annually (excluding any parts shortages etc). However if they are producing many car variants it will likely slow down the production figures even though they work per cells.
edit. Actually 1100 monthly was not said to be plant's capacity, it was target sales volume. So maybe we don't have a clue what the plant's capacity is.. ?
