GR Yaris Show us your aftermarket wheels.

Is it spoke clearance you're having issues with?
Yes. With 3mm spacer it clears the calliper by a hair. Contacted JR Wheels and they're saying with 5mm spacers wheels should clear break callipers with a margin and it should be enough thread to secure wheel properly. Apparently with SL01 18x8.5 ET40 there is no issue with clearance.

Fitted today. Very happy with them, went with et38 over et45 for a little extra poke.

I don’t suppose anyone in Hampshire or West Sussex has an autel scanner to activate my TPMS? Otherwise, I’m going to have to purchase one which is quite expensive for a one off.

Which TPMS sensors are you using out of curiosity? I have Aliexpress specials on my winters and car is just refusing to pick them up. It think they might need waking up like yours.

OT: I was prepared to go to toyota for activating tpms, but car picked it up in 5 minutes. The sensors are from toyota though.

So in answer to myself I found somewhere with a brand new Autel reader. Mr Toms Autos at Plaitford on the A36. The machine picked up the sensors straight away and they didn’t have ID’s (this is the waking up bit) they clicked program and each wheel sensor was then given an ID.

Then it was onto the car display to activate the 2nd set of wheels within the menu and after 5 min of driving I have pressures! No cloning (that can be done) but when it has space for 2 sets why wouldn’t you use it?

Realized I forgot to post spec on the different wheels/tyres combos. Top is Gram lights 57DR 9,5x18 et38 (shaved down to 42/43) with 255-265/35&18. Middle is OZ Ultraleggera 9,5x19 et40 (needs a 3mm spacer to clear brakes. Mostly on 245/30-19 but going for 255/30-19 this year.) Last picture is OZ Rally Racing 8x18 et45 with 225/40-18 winters.
Any scrubbing issues mate?

Today is the day I've been waiting for, for a long time.
In South Africa, original aftermarket wheels are sought after by enthusiasts and in low supply.
We don't have an retailers locally, so finding wheels you like, in the specs you want is near impossible.

We managed to find a set of used Enkei PF01's - only test fitted so far, but I had to share in the interim !
