GR Yaris (Gen 2) Process for purchase

To add to the above, any paint option other than solid will push the car into the higher RFL band.
The alternative would be to price it at £38995 / £41500 to give manual buyers the option of a choice of colour without paying the higher rate.

And you know that will likely not happen.

Prices for the German market are announced:

Der neue GR Yaris startet mit 6 - Gang Schaltgetriebe ab 47.490€*, mit 8-Gang Automatikgetriebe ab 49.990€*.

Well, not as cheap as version 1 ...

Bye for now Fred
What a bargain👌🏻.

With the BBS rims and the Pearl color, it's exactly €19,000 more than what I paid for the MK1👍🏻.

Just guesswork @Ecsrobin @bencollins4

I've also made predictions back in Jan, but with a few pricelists now available in other countries it may give some clues to UK price and spec.

If it turns out to be £39995 for the manual, plenty will be solid white (again).

It was 38 list, but in the very beginning not many Germans were waiting for a 230km/h Yaris, that is until they realised it's more then a pensioners car.
I was one of those people that preordered it "blindly" once the first specifications came out.
Delivery November 2020... :)
Buying a homologation special was a "bucketlist item" in a sense.

What a deal! If it was 38k€ list price and you saved that much, it was 30k€ or something like that, crazy.

Will you guys and gals by the new one with automatic? For me it's a must, the mk1 is nice, but dor using as a daily car, which I intend to do, I need an automatic.

The new one Cost 47.490€ + 2900€ BBS + 1000€ Paint = +- 500 ..... 51000€

51000

Its a 50:50 :). If you drive it daily.... why not😉.

I drive mine daily, it's not an automatic... 🤷‍♂️
I drove my 2003 Impreza WRX STI for ten years and three other manual cars before that one. It's more involved and kind of fun, but automatic gearboxes are good nowadays. If it works as good as toyota claims, I could still use the paddles or work it as sequential with the shift knob as they have fixed the shifting direction. I can only hope right 😀

I am waiting to see the reviews 1st, to see if It makes it feel special .if not DiY gears 🤣🚗💨
I’m not sure if we’ll see the UK reviews before the order books open. Aren’t the first demos due to arrive in June? Hopefully pricing will be in the next two weeks but I kind of assumed ordering would follow not long after, but maybe not?

EVO have already driven it. Say it's even better.

If it'a £39,995, it'll sell like hot cakes. Just the VED implications, much more than that and I think that they could end up with a Honda Civic Type R situation. Except, not really limited, so worse.

It won’t make a difference, I also don’t get why everyone is so anti paying it. Maybe the same people that fit budget tyres to cars?
