GR Yaris (Gen 2) Process for purchase

I really want to get a GR Yaris this time. Because I’m older now I want the automatic I have been told by two Toyota dealers you have to buy online and there is a waiting list you need to get on. Can anyone advise where I find this? Thank you.

When the order book opens in march, go onto Toyota U.K. website and you will be able to place your order there.

Cool. How many first gen GR Yaris were sold in France? Is 300 a low or high number, considering it's now a 100'000€ car?

Fair play to you! That tax would put me right off….unless there are ways round it?

Not sure how many first-gen cars in France, but I would guess at least 1000. I was on a waiting list for a while (in '21), then I was told that France had received an extra allocation of 500 cars. - received my car after 1 year, in June 2022.

To be fair, the car price is ~50K € and it will not lose any value in my opinion (especially if they respect the 300 car limit they have announced). In any case, I expect to keep it indefinitely (I said that about the first-gen though, until I saw the significant improvements). For the Co2 tax, let's see....

its not actually that bad idea if you will not daily it . many do it for their more expensive track cars here. much more affordable way to use nice cars vs. paying rip off taxes.

No, used every weekend to it's fullest on trackdays, drift events, ice drifting, rallies that allow them etc. instead of driving it like a granny commuting in a traffic jam and polishing it like a shining heap of unfulfilled potential in the weekends ;)

Does anyone know what time the ordering portal will open for the Yaris GR (based on how previous models have tended to be released)? Are we talking a minute past midnight or office opening time?

And finally, do you just go to the normal buy online site and hopefully find the Yaris GR is on there?

GR Yaris ;)

Nothing has been announced yet. All will become clearer this month.
