Silver is the worst paint to match....given up on matching now, you can only scotch and paint so many times.... it's done and they work. In winter will be covered in road grim anyway.Ooof, yeah, they look neat but really stand out....if you can get the paint matched, they would be perfect.
Look great! Do they integrate with the head unit e.g. lower the volume when the sensors kick in? Do they perhaps also have the little distance meter display on the head unit too....or not?? Thanks.Just completed the GR86 install. Very straightforward, wiring is easy. The bumper is pre-marked on the back side so not need to work out positions. Only issue, is on one side, the bullseye is blocked by a cable bracket. I just made it as close as I could and mirrored the other side.
The rattle can I got doesn't match perfectly (annoyed) and it's the second rattle can, the first was way off.
I used some hot glue to double hold the mounts as due to curve of the bumper, they weren't 100% stuck down flush.
Here are some pics I took today:

As far as I'm aware, all kits use a separate speaker and can't connect to the infotainment.Look great! Do they integrate with the head unit e.g. lower the volume when the sensors kick in? Do they perhaps also have the little distance meter display on the head unit too....or not?? Thanks.

Thanks very much. Just one other thing - I think I saw in a thread somewhere that you have LEDs? Which LEDs do you have? I assume they are for your rverse parking lights? No, they are just an universal stand alone kit.
Vanity mirror ?I put replacement LED in all of the halogen bulb locations. Unless I missed something out, there shouldn't be a single halogen left in the car!
How did you manage to drill those holes so cleanly? I want to get some fitted but my body shop guy is nervous about drilling the holes (which may not turn out as cleanly as yours appear).Just completed the GR86 install. you don't drill them out. They are sort of pressed out with a die cutting tool. If the person fitting them is not using this tool then run a mile! There is no longer the need to use cone cutters or heaven forbid the included saw cutter that comes with the kits! How did you manage to drill those holes so cleanly? That's brilliant. Thank you!you don't drill them out. They are sort of pressed out with a die cutting tool. If the person fitting them is not using this tool then run a mile! There is no longer the need to use cone cutters or heaven forbid the included saw cutter that comes with the kits!
A die cutter like this below will cut cleanly, as it presses out the hole and also rounds the edge every so slightly, just like factory OEM holes.

I did fit the I-beam no hole parking sensors and they have worked perfectly. No drilling and not a difficult installation. A good alternate if you don't want holes drilled in your bumper. Is and old thread , but realistic how easy is to use this tool? i am kinda handy myself so , just dont want to mess it up.
yes i would prefer that but cannot find them on sale anywhereI did fit the I-beam no hole parking sensors and they have worked perfectly. No drilling and not a difficult installation. A good alternate if you don't want holes drilled in your bumper.
Try emailing through ibeamusa.com. It will be a shame if they have stopped making them as they work really well.yes i would prefer that but cannot find them on sale anywhere
It is straight forward. You drill a pilot hole in the bumper. Then just tighten the punch tool to punch/cut out your sensor hole with the rounded edge that is required for a clean sensor install. Is and old thread , but realistic how easy is to use this tool? i am kinda handy myself so , just dont want to mess it up.
