GR86 Importing my 2023 JDM BRZ

Nice one Martin, what happened to "the power is enough"? ๐Ÿ˜‚
It got mixed in with "I'm retired", "I'm not getting any younger" and "do it now, no more waiting". I had a really long think and decided the BRZ really is my final performance car, so let's have a bit of Porsche performance for a few more thrills before my years of driving come to an end. You might say "but I'm only 67", but being diabetic severely curtails life expectancy and, although I'm well controlled now, you never know when sh1t will happen.
Or, I could just say "want, want" ;)

This is the way. Looking forward to a full report after installation. Out of interest, any reason you're not going to Abbey for the work this time?

I had decided on going with a blower supercharger as the FA24 is fundamentally different from the FA20. The latter needed help everywhere, so positive displacement with the Harrop was the right thing to do. The FA24 has torque, though, so assistance from the midrange upwards felt the right way to go, plus the losses are lower.

I went with Fensport since they are experts with the HKS kit and, once when I spoke with Abbey about blower superchargers, they expressed a dislike for them. Nothing against Abbey, they are wonderful but I've also heard great things about Fensport.

No that's true. Choosing between them often comes down to whoever is closest, tbh, so was just curious as I know you go to them usually.
I did pop by Fensport once to pick something up, but only because I was visiting parents in Suffolk at the time so it wasn't too far to go. And Adrian was very helpful when I bought my HKS catback from them. Let us know how the install goes!

I do find it funny that you are going FI after all the times you said you weren't, but there's nothing wrong with changing your mind, especially when a supercharger is involved. Looking forwards to hearing your thoughts on it. I love my turbo setup but I can see the appeal of something more linear.

I'd like to hear what you think of Fensports Ecutek and tuning. My tune feels very good but i don't have any of the additional Ecutek features enabled. Also, don't fensport claim to have fixed the rev-hang with their tuning? A lot of people might be interested to hear about that too.

Are you keeping the stock fuel system?
