I think I was disappointed, having read the rave reviews, it didn't feel the least bit special to sit in. Not to mention the high seating position.
I know complaining about the interior misses the point - it is an amazing car and I'd still love to try one.

My confession... I've had the car 4 weeks, driven 900 miles and still not washed it.
It's gone back to the dealer to have the parking sensors installed and I kinda hope they wash it.... 😬

Also, the poorly thought out switchgear ergonomics annoys me a lot.

Yeh , I struggle aswell. So used to my ST (nearly 5 years) that at junc and hill starts are still a little nervy. Only done 170 miles since dec though so I’m sure if I got rid of the ST and this was my daily it be fine but atm it’s my weekend car.

We have a Puma ST for the family hack, really good car that is.

Before the GR was mentioned I was looking to get a special edition 3 door ST for my last ever car.

was going to sell my 3-dr ST, but now ford arn't selling anymore i've decided to keep and hoping ST will start to go up in next few years . Not great for my finances though!
 
I think the sound quality of the stereo is pretty good for a base stereo and I'm normally pretty fussy about music. I could understand why someone might want to upgrade it...I spent ££££ on another car, but it's very listenable.

I adjusted and bass and treble right down and found that makes a big difference.

Will try this thanks, have wondered if playing with these will help but didn't know where to start really. Why did you make these particular changes? Is it more balanced now?

And me. I think the audio is okay, but if you've found a good formula for refining it I'd be interested.

I think my only annoyance with the system is that there doesn't seem to be a way to balance the volume of sources (apart from AUX). I mainly listen to Android Auto, but the volume has to be set quite a bit higher than the radio. Which means everyone I get in the car, I get deafened by the radio until AA reconnects.

You should set your phone's Bluetooth volume to maximum when it's paired with the car if you haven't already. That should resolve it.

Doing that won't affect the volume with any other connection.

I'll post a new thread on my stereo settings this afternoon.

I don't think that works when connected with Android Auto - changing the volume on the phone doesn't affect the AA output on the headunit. I guess this is intentional, it makes sense that you'd want the the car to be controlling the output volume.

That makes sense but I'm not sure why I'm not getting the same problem.

I'll have a play later, but I'm certain the phone volume didn't have an affect.
It might also just be subjective....I said I get deafened earlier and I admit that was hyperbole, but the DAB source is noticeably louder than the AA at the same volume level on the headunit.
 
When the low tones such as a bass sound I can hear my speakers vibrating against the trim, anyone else?

Also, if you are using AA and change the menu to car settings, is there a way to go back to navigation with one button presh? Seems you need to press phone and then select AA, bit annoying
