Maybe fate is trying to push me in a certain direction? Today I received an email from Alpine regarding the forthcoming A110GTS/A110R70 (and the subsequent demise of the ICE versions):

My issue with the Alpine is it's a 2dr, 2 seat automatic. I'd rather an Exige if I wanted impractical. If you're going to do it, do it properly.

I’ve only just got around to sorting out the spoiler situation. There’s a growing list of wants for the car that I really need to pull my finger out on and get them ordered and fitted.

I remember reading that edition of Evo with a little pride. After just over two month of A110 ownership I still agree, the GR86 is a better sports car. By that I mean if I was going for a spirited drive on an empty and dry B road, for no other purpose than enjoying the drive, I would want to be in a GR86, more than anything else I have ever driven I thinkSomewhat awkward..... . Having said that, I haven’t missed it, the A110 is epic and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It just fits better in my life right now. May you all find empty roads and plenty of sunshine over the weekend.
