Did they say the book will open this month? I thought it was pricing, spec and how the process will work?Timing is the issue here.
If the order book opens this month but demonstrators don't come until June... ?

… both the Mk1 and Mk2 are meant to be driven, not looked at.Also my opinion is that front bumper Mk1 or Mk2, neither looks particularly good. So who cares at this point![]()

My car + 249 others are already on order in Belgium. Although I did hear only 150 were available for Belgium..
Wow... Could you explain how the order process works? How did you know when it was available for purchase? In Belgium they sold out in about 1hr. So anyone thinking "I'll go to the dealer on the releaseday", you will be to late.
Toyota rides the Apple hype from 2007-2015In Belgium they sold out in about 1hr. So anyone thinking "I'll go to the dealer on the releaseday", you will be to late.
I don't see French tax being an issue if you pay it when register it to country -> no issue if registered somewhere else (IIRC)Belgium may have sold out but France doesn't seem to have a problem, you can still order on their website, but maybe with their tax probably not many takers, they will possibly ship a few extra to Belgium!

Pretty sure France will only sell for pure tracktoys or export to other countries. Nobody will pay 100k for this car.I don't see French tax being an issue if you pay it when register it to country -> no issue if registered somewhere else (IIRC)
I contacted multiple dealers months ago to ask if they had some kind of waiting list.Wow... Could you explain how the order process works? How did you know when it was available for purchase?
Happened with the GR86 in the UK a few members of here saying their local dealer was putting in the order for them. Those dealers probably not expecting the rush or with a few orders to place failed to get them all in.In Belgium they sold out in about 1hr. I wouldn’t look too much into the processes of other countries. It’s up to each country to decide how they will sell them.Wow... Could you explain how the order process works? How did you know when it was available for purchase?
All depends on personal taste, also reviewers knowing their audience which for petrolheads you’re not allowed to like high seating, automatics and EV’s even if they’re good.I've just been watching several reviews on different performance cars, in a lot of cases, the comment of, 'if only this came with a manual box, it would be perfect', makes me wonder even more if the Auto isn't really the way to go? Hmmmmm
