oh thank you all because I was really worried that I had done some damage because of people who don't care about othersYeah, that looks the same as mine.
Don’t worry!![]()
replace with aluminum/titanium/carbon/kevlar resolves usually the issueI absolutely hate shiny black plastic in cars, second only to aluminised plastic on my 'they really need to stop doing that'
It is really a shame, mainly considering I love the practicality and non-B.S. approach they made with the facelift layout. However they still had to snuck up random piano trim at some spaces where they can scratch in very random pattern... Like in this case I still don't understand that how could it happen like that. Obviously it's a part of a interior where there is no physical interaction at all so no chance of daily-use scratching, how the hell does it scratch at that place at that angleI absolutely hate shiny black plastic in cars, second only to aluminised plastic on my 'they really need to stop doing that'
As I was saying a few posts ago: all the interior plastics in this car are marked when you look at them... I hate them... I don't think I have what you have, but the lines on the shiny part (I also wash like you with microfiber etc.) are full of micro scratches if you look with the light... even from the air adjustment... As I was saying: OK, the "rough" style, OK, everything but still it's a 60k euro car, I don't want Audi plastics or anything else but not that fragile either...It is really a shame, mainly considering I love the practicality and non-B.S. approach they made with the facelift layout. Maybe it was there since day 1 but I have not notice it. It's completely invisible from passenger's seat angle and nearly invisible from driver's POV.
I hope a bonnet and rear wing isn't too expensive.Gen 2 aero pack in manual announced for UK. Deliveries in March but very limited numbers possibly no more than 60.
All in £50k apparently. Doesn’t sound like anybody will be able to get hold of one!I hope a bonnet and rear wing isn't too expensive.
I am afraidI hope a bonnet and rear wing isn't too expensive.
I suspect it’s emissions driven. In the UK it was 50/50 but as you say I understand it’s been a popular choice around the world.Am I wrong, or all European countries suddenly decided to discontinue the sale of the automatic GR Yaris?

In this Autocar article, they say that it's a decision by Toyota, since they sold much more Manual GRYs than automatic ones (???).
From what I hear around the actual sale distribution in Europe has been around 2 automatic versus 1 manual for the MK2s sold so far.
Is it actually a "sustainable" choice given the slightly less emissions by the manual one, maybe?
Anyway, I checked the Toyota websites in Switzerland and in Italy, and the automatic version is not available to order anymore.
Only in Japan there is still an automatic version on sale for any available models of GRY.
Will the valuations of used GRY DAT go up, then, at least in Europe?
When we were talking to our Toyota importer last year they said that due to emission penalties they really don't want to sell Gr Yaris from 2025 onwards because its simply not economically viable. I think they maybe had to make a compromise - you can keep GR Yaris on the sale but obviously in manual to keep the sustainable choice. Pretty sad state of affairs... Also increasing my anxiety with my auto not to f*** it up considering it basically ultra rare collector item! The auto box isn’t “ultra rare” as it’s used in other Toyota models. When we were talking to our Toyota importer last year they said that due to emission penalties they really don't want to sell Gr Yaris from 2025 onwards because its simply not economically viable.
