GR Yaris (Gen 2) GR Yaris Mk2 (MY2024->)

Hi everyone, lack of luck to get the gen 2 from ballot so have to look it for 2nd hand market now...saw a post on Autotrader - £49,995 for the gen 2 manual in grey with 20 miles...what price do you feel fair now?

There’s not many in the UK (150ish) so think it’s a case of what price do you want to pay.

I would contact Toyota dealers up hill and down dale as in some areas they may not go as quickly as one might think.

I note the Autotrader one you refer to is a Private Sale, if you are a cash buyer then £49,995 is about right for a delivery mileage one based on what's currently available. The situation gets less clear if your buying from a dealer and have a trade in..... I know because I was in that position a couple of months ago.:cautious:
Either way if you want a new (delivery mileage) Gen 2 at this time you'll have to pay a premium over list ......., thanks to supply and demand.

A fair price is less than RRP (47,545) for a used and relatively mass produced car I’d say that’s only going to depreciate in value.

I have a gen 1 car with 38000 miles on the clock which I am perfectly happy with. By chance, I was contacted yesterday by my local Toyota garage (Listers of Lincoln) where I bought my car from new. They were offering a gen 2 in grey. The salesman quoted list price of £470000 ish but we didn’t get into the nitty gritty as I said I wasn’t interested as it was an auto. If you are interested it might be worth a call.

See comment above mine for an example. I’m sure there’s a few available for list that ballot winners aren’t able to take delivery of for whatever reason.
And see the comments above that out of 40 phone calls someone also on the hunt found nothing.

All depends on if they want to be specific on the gearbox and colour or if they're happy just to get a car.

It's not a UK model though. I might be sceptical.
Grey imports are not easy things to find parts for, in spite of what the law says.

Few days ago I went on a trip to Vienna, everything went fine but I noticed one weird beeping pattern. For some reason while driving in city center (lot of traffic lights, tight traffic etc.) Yaris would randomly beep out one single beep, no warning on dash at all. Happened with both RSA enabled or disabled so I don't think its related to any traffic signs/speed limits. I don't think it was line assist considering when that one is active the dash icon turns green. Obviously it wasn't parking sensor, happened during driving at traffic speeds (~50 km/h), maybe some radar warning? Vienna has plenty radars on main roads, I was using google maps so maybe it was beeping from there (but I don't use audio navigation). Girlfriend was laughing at me because I was getting really baffled what was beeping at me at random times :LOL:

Does anyone have the part numbers of the front headlights for an LHD, i.e. the complete ones on the left and right?

Part numbers vary on which gen it is; listed below;
