You have a stock downpipe, correct? Those 20 hp losses could be caused by that… the stock downpipe severely limits the ability to increase power.

There are so many variables with dynos no 2 will be exactly the same. The stock downpipe is definitely a restriction but I’m talking about the torque figures. EcuTek the software manufacturer, Thomson motorsport in Poland and Whifbitz are all saying there’s a torque restriction…..

And how is it possible that they obtained such results? I also wanted to modify the ECU, but now I suspect they're declaring false values...

I saw on Instagram that Thomson states that it limits the torque to 420nm to test the gearbox, not due to software limitations… strange they don't talk about it... I'll try to ask... because in that case I'll wait to change it

Anyway, how are you doing? Has it improved? Or do you notice "few" differences?

Read the comments Thomson also state it’s the software that’s the limitation not the gearbox.

Yep, I just accepted the fate that I will look at kinda pointless 4wd deployment graphic instead. Obviously when needed I just switch the graphic, but I would definitely prefer good old combination of temps and tire pressures saving as a default.

100% I’m amazed they didn’t change it considering on the Corolla owners complained about it.

quite annoying… but a software update would be enough for things like this… we'll have to see if they want to fix it

Looking at TechDoc, looks like a doozy....
Basically removing almost the whole dash
You have to remove all the panels around it, as exactly that part is on the lowest level.



basically follow this as far as you need, then you have to remove the both sides, and the Head unit fascia as well

THERE are a LOT of manuals to get to that point properly...

Hello everyone,
I own a gen 2 yaris auto and am currently in the process of tuning it via ecutek.
Has anyone else managed to finish and experience the tune?
 
Hi everyone, lack of luck to get the gen 2 from ballot so have to look it for 2nd hand market now...saw a post on Autotrader - £49,995 for the gen 2 manual in grey with 20 miles...what price do you feel fair now?
