Good article but, other than reference to an intercooler, I'm surprised there's not more content relating to heat management, oil cooler, vents etcold thread but good discussion earlier so updating with good article from Whifbitz

Not sure you can simply add them upp, but both relieve the work of the turbo by improving the compressor (intake) and turbine (cat) pressure ratios, hence reducing turbo work, opening the wastegate more and reducing backpressure, making more power without changing anything else (boost, fuel or timing).Hm, are those claims about the eventuri intake backed ?
