GR Yaris Balance of tuning and durability limits

So his conclusion is that MK2 cars have zero engine issues simply because, based on the limited releases so far, no one has reported any—yet. That’s laughable logic.

Guy's a proper d@%k, He's just full of scammy ideas that he tries to sell to people. He's probably left Italy because he had to.

Maybe he could start his own line of clothing,

Good article but, other than reference to an intercooler, I'm surprised there's not more content relating to heat management, oil cooler, vents etc

Maybe it is how you use the car. On track or 30min autobahn blast its evident you benefit from improved cooling.
It was just about getting hp out from engine.

Hm, are those claims about the eventuri intake backed ?

If yes, this intake + HJS downpipe already give you close to 290hp from the 261 stock ...

Yes. Tegiwa I think got 13-15bhp from it.

I have a gen2. It wasn’t Dyno’d stock so there is a bit of unknown but with eventuri it did make 15bhp more than standard.

Not sure you can simply add them upp, but both relieve the work of the turbo by improving the compressor (intake) and turbine (cat) pressure ratios, hence reducing turbo work, opening the wastegate more and reducing backpressure, making more power without changing anything else (boost, fuel or timing).

If you don't want the noise of the Eventuri, a Forge inlet duct (IAT lowering) and intake hose and elbow (lower pressure loss) had a similar effect on mine.
