One chap I have watched a lot is Steve Clark - fat lad on a bike.
He and a few mates go on a few days biking trips around britain. I did the NC500 route plus the route he did to get him up their which covered Braemar. His drive up to the official start to me was better than the actual NC500...
Agree totally. Mine is coming up to 5 years and only do about 3500 miles a year as have a Yaris cross for daily. Nearly all of those miles have been done in Yorkshire dales with one NC500 last September. Tomorrow back up into the dales for a drive and coffee. I too just love owning it and feel...
It all comes down to how much you value that extra years full Toyota warranty.
I have looked at possible alternatives when I decide to change my Yaris Cross and am surprised at how much it costs to extend up to 5 years. The base Skoda Elroq is £630 for those extra 2 years. Many other...
When I set up my service plan to go up to year nine I asked him to go check with someone about the 6 month service regarding warranty. He came back 15 mins later and said he had phoned head office and they said it has nothing to do with warranty - just a safety check. He actually said it is a...
Was looking around at what Imight replace my Yaris Cross and fancied the Enyaq VRS or Cupra Born VZ and then found this.
My 1970s house is on a looped power supply. My box has one cable in from the pavement up my drive then another cable coming out and going under the house to next door...
Had mine serviced by RRG Bradford in May - 4 year old service, MOT etc all on service plan and a few days later my MOT ran out. They had forgotten to do it. Let them know I was annoyed and head office.
I suspect all service centres make mistakes. Just hope mine has learnt their lesson.
Agree with above about it being more usable than the GRY but my guess is mid 50k.
Still wouldn't trade in my GRY as there will always be one "original first edition".
It would be nice to have both though for when someone needs to be in the back along with the dog in the boot.
Does having a Ghost 2 imobilizer fitted stop your warranty or are Toyota OK with it. Do they have recomended installers.
Interesting watching the different videos about the DiskLock Plattinum. Angle grinders went through disks. Drill bits had no affect. I was impressed and I was a trained...
MODs are a real turn off for more than "some".
A standard car serviced at main dealer is more sought after.
There may be that one person out there who wants all of those modes but they will want it cheap. I would change what I could to improve my chances.
Good luck in selling and buying a more...
Last year I was there and they told me toyota was well down the track designing a propper GR Yaris Cross. Please ask them about if that is happening as I would trade my base YC in for a GR YC in a flash as I love the extra practicality of a small SUV - 4 seats and dog in back etc.
Finally decided to change the wheel colour. Opted for Porsche Neodyme OZ1.
A local garage run by grandad, father and grown up son at RimTek in Bradford did them and was pleased at the price of £380. Normal price is about £50 less for standard colours which I am getting my Yaris cross changed in...
Finally solved the puzzle why I didn't get the MOT certificate and emissions printout. Three days after the major service (4 Yrs) and MOT on Monday I decided to print out the MOT for my records so went into DVLA site. The MOT showed as expired so I went down to the main dealer - in my Yaris...
Just had the GRY serviced - 4th year. I then realised that on the third it just stated "Service & MOT". For many decades I used to receive a separate document - MOT certificate. I have received nothing this week and last year. I know they can now be viewed online but don't MOT centres give paper...
For the last year or so I have become more interested in looking at purchasing a red XR3i like the new one I bought in the early 80s. I did keep it 8 years but like most young chaps I sold it. I also had one of the last Capri's - a blue and silver Calypso. Now in my early 60s I would love to...
I have had the car now for nearly 4 years and have never known me need to check the pressures as much the day before I set off or the light often comes on.
In a month it is going in to have the wheels recovered but I mentionesd this to one of the owners - grandad, dad and son run it. He said it...
Mine is now nearly 4 years old and only has 10k on it.
I have a lovely Yaris cross to use for nearly everything and put nearly that mileage on in one year.
The GRY was bought as a treat and used only on dry days when the salt hasn't been spread here in Yorkshire which can be 5 months of the...
I am starting to think the 2030 deadline will be put back as there is an increasing push back against total EV.
I drive a hybrid as daily and really like it in EV mode so would think that is the best way to go with new models from now on - unless these three ne cars are such a small planned...
