There was once a list of how Ancient the Drivers who are GRisti on the old site . Is there an up to date list ? My Grandson is 16 and I am bloody ancient ! Own up of you dare . Possibly add in Mileage of Car owned so we can see if they are actually driven or just perved at !

Gooday Lanman! I'm 66 and the car has done 51K so I don't know what that makes me?! I think we have a different meaning for the word pervert in Britain - where I live, most of the drivers are over 70 and I call them many things, especially when I'm out on my bike, but pervert isn't one of them - maybe I should try it!! Keep on keeping on...

Sure we did a poll on here once too

Edit: Despite my advancing years, I was not imagining it :D Those of us who responded and still have our cars are all nearly four years older now though!

For reference, I’m 53 and have had my Yaris for nearly four years during which time it’s done 70k km, so definitely not a garage queen only getting perved at!

Amazing how bloody age creeps on. I have just turned 80! and still have luckily good health ! ‘ Wake up every morning Thank God ( or whoever) you are alive and pray the End will be Quick’ a quote from the best
Doctor I have ever known ! and who loved driving the Yaris on a morning drive! Keep on being revheads folks ! My 21 so called Rallye Version in Aus has 67k km .

33, on my second. Mine doesn't get driven enough, the first White one i had from new covered 4.5k in a year and a half. Sold for GT86 then GR86 then bought another used Black Yaris around June last year. I've only covered about 1000 in that one.

Best car you’ll ever own !! Fast disappearing on our woke world !!
Hope to get that feeling back indeed. After having lot's different types of cars, I'm really longing for something more simple, cheerful, lightweight, manual. Something that is special, but not too complicated. Something that reminds me of the first car I had after I got my license, which was a Suzuki Swift. Had lot's of fun with that car back then. I think the GR Yaris will tick all these boxes, it's truly something no other manufacturer makes anymore nowadays.

I don't see it as a bad thing not driving it that much. As long as you still have the feeling for/with the car. I'll probably also not drive it that much, but I know I can also enjoy a car in another way, just by owning it with my own earned money and by keeping it in great condition. Just having it standing there in the garage already makes me happy. But with the GRY, I do tend to properly enjoy driving it, despite not driving it much perhaps, having fun driving with this thing is very important. 😎

That’s a proper drive !!

It's my daily. My partner and I like to travel, my Renault Avantime is great for long trips except for the anxiety about reliability, and my partner didn't own a car until about 3 days ago. She just purchased a 2019 Corolla hybrid station wagon, though, so that will likely be our road trip car going forward.

Love an Avantime!

Agree totally. Mine is coming up to 5 years and only do about 3500 miles a year as have a Yaris cross for daily. Nearly all of those miles have been done in Yorkshire dales with one NC500 last September. Tomorrow back up into the dales for a drive and coffee. I too just love owning it and feel so lucky and because I use it once or twice a week when dry it feels special everytime I get into it. Good to see others using it as a daily and putting big miles on them without any major problems - that's a good sign. I'm 64 and plan to keep mine till I drop as it makes me happy just to own it. Soon be nice enough for my drive over Buttertubs pass and a coffee in Thwaite North Yorkshire. In a few weeks I will wash undernieth and later in the summer when bone dry will get it up on my ramps and spray again with Lanoguard which I do every year.
