GR86 GR86 - What wheels and tyres are you thinking about?

Those are 5 spoke winners right there. Google tells me they are wallet busting either.

I think these are my favourite. I like the clean round centre, and also that they are a available in 18x8 and 45 offset. Need to choose a colour now 🤔

Agreed, someone's been bold to try something out of the norm. I dont think it's quite the right combo, but I wouldn't bash it because of that.

Those wheels would look mega on something like a Volvo V60 or most things VAG.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. In my opinion those wheels are absolutely hideous. They might look OK on a campervan or something, but i think even then i wouldn't like them. Why anyone would try to sell the car with those attached is beyond me. Immediately reducing your customers by about 95%.

Edit: I think they look even worse on that R8. especially one that's lowered to the point of being undriveable

It's actually a TT on bags. If everyone liked the same stuff, then the world would be a boring place indeed.

Not the greatest tyres out there, but should allow me to get to work in the event of snow. Bought the wheels with tyres for £380, with almost unused tyres. So far the ride feels better than the 18’s.

TPMS sensors haven’t synced as I left the original sensors in, the little light on the dash is there but a minor inconvenience! I’ll replace them when the tyres are due (already purchased as photo, didn’t arrive in time).

Winter wheels back on, with (aliexpress!!) TPMS installed. Not yet managed to get them connected up to the car but I’ll persevere. Colour changed to anthracite after having a gold finish last winter - which was poorly done.

Driftworks have a decent BF sale on a fairly large selection of brands.

25% off Japan Racing SL01's has me very tempted, as they are the wheel I've been drawn to the most for a track-specific set of lightweight rims.

No clue on what fitment I'd be after, in fairness.
