GR Yaris Replacement rearview mirror

Has anyone been able to put the rear view mirror 87810-0D080 with a mirror riser? I've tried it and it doesn't seem to fit together

It does not need a riser as it fits tight to the roof without. If you made a hole in the roof lining it would likely fit but the angle of rear view would be directed down towards the road's surface due to the rear window aperture. I trust that makes sense.

@prx_chain - howdy! Could you do us a quick favour and measure how wide 0D080 is? Thank you!
Sure, it measures approximately 24x7.7 cm

Super, thank you sir. Quite similar to the 0D100 then which is ace as more choices -> good. Especially seeing the crazy parts prices official Toyota is asking for older stuff.

when you switch the Auto button on and off do you see much difference?
Replying to my own question.. my 080 dims properly, its juts very subtle and switching the autodim on/off isnt instant in case others were wondering.

Excellent, that is two tested replacement part numbers then. BTW if you really want to see the thing dim down, just shine a bright light at the cabin sidde sensor while covering the windscreen side sensor.

Fitted the 87810-0D100 with a Tegiwa riser today.
10 minute job and looks 100 % OE but smaller, sits as high as possible.
Mirror cost £35 😊👍🏼
Where did you source your mirror, please?

I can also confirm that 87810-0D080 works great.
Does 0D100 also require chopping up the mounting bracket?

I was wondering the same as @Mark's bracket doesn't look chopped.

I have a 0D080 and struggled with the wiring as the harness wasn't long enough - again the harness in Mark's pictures looks a lot longer

The 0D100 is a direct fit, no cutting needed on the bracket and enough length on the harness.

In that case I'd recommend going with an 0D100 if possible and to only use 0D080 as a backup if none are available.
The cable on 0D080 is shorter and the bracket needs to be shortened to be able to mount the mirror on the GR Yaris. Once the mirror is mounted 0D080 is fantastic though.

I picked up the 87810-0WK00 Rav 4 mirror . I haven't fitted it yet but from the pictures it looks to be the same fitment
It's about 2cm narrower & the same height as the Gr std mirror.

Is the OD100/80 version much narrower / less tall?

I’m thinking of trying one of these- interested to see what you think

I have lowered seat so It’s not a big problem any more but any little helps

I need to find one in mint condition though as if I get one and it’s marked it will get on my nerves

Robbie can you please confirm the size of the rav4 mirror? We have limited sources of the 080 and 0100 (none) but there are a few of these around the place. Also it seems like there are others that may also fit????

This is the list of parts that are direct fit replacement for 0D80 and 0D100, other parts might also fit

The rav4 one is also the same mirror 87810-0WK00
It takes a bit of clicking through but if you pick the right one from the list it shows you which cars it fits and what other variants were fitted to the same model

I can confirm, that the rav4 mirror fits. Direct replacement ;)
Do you know the size of the rav 4 mirror?

Also is the ball joint in the same position at the back as I guess some will be different and if it is higher up it will make the mirror lower than the standard one

I didnt measure it yet. It is just as high up as before with the mirror riser (still using this with the rav4 mirror) ;)
