1985 Citroen 2CV6 - I've owned it for 28 years, only another two until it's tax & MOT free !
 
Alignment checked and camber bolts done. It was out a bit from factory. Not gone extreme, only a touch of toe in on rear, toe out front and the -1 camber on the front. Already feels more stable >50mph when I thought it was fine before. Has lost a hint of turn in feel but it's minimal. Filled up the tank. Next drive will be Weds when I'm off to Scotland. I'll have 1100 miles to really learn it.

Picked up my car from the dealers having fitted rear parking sensors, duckbill spoiler and oil/filter change at 2k miles.
They have had the car since Friday morning as they were sent or ordered the wrong oil filter and I was left with a base model Yaris Cross for the weekend. Horrible car (I had requested a RAV4 as my wife is interested, but they couldnt make it happen).

I did complain about the whole Toyota customer experience of buying a brand new car and the dealership to their credit admitted they had made a few mistakes.
In the end I paid £514 for spoiler, mudguards (fitted 2 months ago), rear parking sensors and oil/filter change.
That was quite a welcome reduction in price.
 
I feel like I might be missing something. Everyone seems to complain about the throttle. But I haven't had much issue with it. At least not finding it over sensitive. It feels largely the same as the first gen to me. So I'd be interested to hear what you think, especially as you still have both cars.

That's a great price for all that work. My local dealer wanted more than that for the spoiler alone.

Me too; I've had no problems with it and it's even better since doing that "engine off pedal down five times" recalibration thing.

Maybe some are more truculent than others.

Maybe we are driving gods

Same for me really, since the recalibration I’ve not even thought about it. It’s worth a try for those that haven’t done it.

I don’t have any problem either but what is this calibration thing?
 
Truthfully I felt the same, but when the opportunity came up to test it from a kind fellow member off another forum I did. Maybe just to see if I was really missing something and muscle memory was compensating for it.

Do let us know what you think...maybe it's one of those things where you don't realise theres an issue until you try it.
