I have to say though...you do need to work on your parking space game:
- 2 spaces away from you were two, premium, end-of-row spots with a bonus lampost. Could have parked in either of those, maybe hanging over the hatching slightly, and the lampost would deter people from parking next to you.
- Looks like over the back in the corner might have been a good space? Either a space in the corner which ends up being much wider, OR the corner maybe hatched off to give another end-of-row option.

Jesus, I need to get out more.

I did but went PS5's. I've found them fine. Some Imprezas run a 225 on a 7.5 rim and my Octavia did too.
 
I ran premium contact 6's in 225 on the stock wheels, dead square sidewall, weren't that wallowy but quite stiff sidewalls on that, always prefer a bit of stretch though if you're pressing on a bit

They sit quite square
I didn’t align after installing them though, will do next week. Hopefully it might be that lack of alignment
 
My eBay ABS Ducktail spoiler arrived from Taiwan today (£189) and it's a perfect paint match, thank fook! 🥳
Just waiting on some 3M PT1100 Acrylic Plus tape, isopropanol alcohol, and a bottle of Synergy ceramic coating then I'll look to get it fixed into place.
(Next worry: I do hope it still fits under my car cover with that extra lump on the back :rolleyes:)

@Sonic Is that tape the same stuff you used to put the aero cover thing on?

(Still haven’t refitted mine after nearly losing if due to crappy Stanley double sided tape. )

No, I used what was provided with the Aero. For this, I've gone and bought a role of proper 3M PT1100 (link to PDF) that has different adhesive on each side and is specifically for attaching automotive components. The roll is 20m long, so I reckon I should have enough - might even be a bit left over to sort your Aero out as well sometime ... ;)

Seeing this and grinding my teeth that I paid nearly 500 quid for the official one before the car was even delivered :mad:
 
Forget driving the thing, today I organised my glovebox!

Many of you will remember my exciting thread about phone holders where I used a Brodit holder to mount a kind of phone holster near the steering wheel. I had to abandon that, as even with good trim tape it kept falling off. I reverted to just having a loose USB cable attached to the glovebox charger and plugging my phone in to it while on charge. Annoying to have to use both hands, and have the cable trailing and getting caught when I shut the glovebox lid.

So today, I pressed the Brodit back into service. Attached it to the base of the glovebox and tucked the wire away neatly with some clips on the back of the box itself. Also used some clips on the roof of the box to keep the cable going into the Puzu DSP up and out of the way...that had also been dangling in the glovebox and kept getting caught when I tried to tuck it out of sight.

All neat and tidy now, and if I want to stick my phone on charge I can just lean over with one hand, open the glovebox, slide it into the holder and shut the lid again. Sweet.

It's the little things which please me.

Decided I don't really like the no name internal drive wheel nuts that came with my wheels and ordered some RAYS 48mm long ones instead. Not cheap but I think I'll have more faith in them and they should be overall more durable.

any m12*1.25 19mm hex with a cone/tapered seat ought to fit.
