GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Tried and failed again at doing the diff bits. Even dropping the roll bar, the exhaust fouls when doing the left ones so I've left it for now for a rethink. Did the rear bottom ones no issue though and gave me a chance to test my new ugga dugga. Also lifted front up and took off the front tray for a look as I have bracing to fit soon. Rears will be a struggle, front will mean both the metal tray and the carpet one have to come off and I've trapped a nerve in my back so had to abort. Did give me chance to empty out the gravel that accumulated. Free weight reduction. Cool to see the aero and the cooling too.

I’d personally steer clear of aluminium wheel nuts but the steel ones with duralumin seats are good for aftermarket wheels that are just raw aluminium.

Gave these two a good clean, (after I sprayed the weeds on the driveway 😁) even polished the exhaust tips on the GR86. It's the little things sometimes. The wheel refurb on the Saab turned out well.

Yep, that's more than me. I've done 30K now. I'm doing less miles each month for work at the moment, but there are a few projects I'm looking at that could change that if I win them, especially a big one in Lancashire.
Good luck with the projects (y)

Following up on this (my own 😅)

Went for a little drive today, the tires have a lot of grip, however I can feel the car has a lot more body roll, potentially because I changed to 225 on the stock rims 🤷‍♂️

Does anyone is using 225s on the stock wheels?
Still on the standard tyres, but I was thinking today that the couple of days of summer we've had now is presenting a lot more grip and traction. Full throttle out of T-junctions is dealt with without any tail out action.

Some dry carbon interior trim and a Billetworkz hybrid gear knob fitted today, I liked the white when @Joolone posted his (shamefully stolen), its a bit marmite, the wife thinks its hideous, "why have you fitted a white vibrator to your Insignia" 😅 but I like the motorsport inspired look, not to mention Delrin is a great material for a gear knob.
