Drove just under 600 miles in 9 hrs through Holland, Germany and into Switzerland. Averaged 35 mpg between Edinburgh - Newcastle and Holland. Unsurprisingly the figure dropped to 30mpg in Germany!Car was great though, 9 hrs and only started to feel tired in the last hour.

Welcome to the club It's Sharpie time.
The thing is, if you βfixβ it youβll always know itβs there. The anger will grow inside you; youβll stay up past 9pm; drink neat spirits; eat more fast food; start picking fights with strangers and taking the disabled seat up on buses. So yeah, the sharpie could be the catalyst for a downward spiral - spend a grand on some new wheels and get the old ones reconditioned. Itβs pure common sense.Fit kerbed wheel with sharpie or buy the oz ultraleggera's I keep looking at. The man maths works, right?

I think I can top this....Quite sensible on balance. When I scuffed one of my wheels I nearly bought a Cayman R.
Same. Although mine was the edge of a pothole. Avoiding one I couldn't avoid the other. Swore all the way home. Was passenger side rear. It's actually holding me back buying new wheels. When I finally decide to I'd like to refurb it but getting the right shade maybe tricky.Welcome to the club It's Sharpie time.
Do like I did and go for something different. I went for Piano Black as it's deeper and blacker than Gloss Black. Why not go for Black 4.0, which is the blackest Black available and absorbs 99.96% of visible light (akin to 'VantaBlack'). The advertising blurb has an amusing tagline that decrees "Absorbs all the light in the universe as well as other universes". Go 'ahn, make those wheels invisibleWhen I finally decide to I'd like to refurb it but getting the right shade maybe tricky.
I've just come back from a bit of a Euro trip, but unfortunately I wasn't in the 86. Road trip to France next month, but in MrsTheWifes car that time, as we need to carry a Highland Games competitor . . . (at least it's a Stelvio Veloce). Nurburgring trip may have to wait until next year now . . .
3 weeks@Grblue86 Out of interest what was the lead time on the kit from Reyland?
