Yes, they have a dark blue one. Looked rather nice with a layer of frost on it this morning. But do they have a GR86? Closest GR Centre to Pembrokeshire so would have a look if they have.
Twice as frequent servicing as a 911 GT3!Its first (intermediate or ‘A’) service was done a year ago, and every other service is a full or ‘B’ service, so it was £450 this time. As far as I can tell there’s no extra fluid changes like the gearbox or diff oil, just more checks are done.
Having the intermediate done first, and then it having to go back in for the extra work for the full, has shown that an extra £150 for 20-30 minutes labour is a bit of a rip-off.
When you factor in the 6 month safety checks (now £75), you realise that’s it’s now quite an expensive car to maintain. Even if you do zero miles you’re looking at £450 per year average for servicing.
I also got quoted for a service plan, Toyota fixed price of course, £1,275 for ‘6’ services. This is actually only 3 services, 2 intermediate and 1 full, and 3 safety checks. So the service plan saves you a grand total of…that’s right, f**k all! It’s essentially just a pay monthly option, but one that ties you in to a service plan at one garage. So no thanks.
What a scam this 10 year warranty is. It’s actually just an extended warranty insurance policy, with a £4,500 premium.
Luckily, they made the car good fun to drive. And it still costs significantly less to run than all kinds of sports cars, with slower real world pace!

Yes, silly. But then you could argue the 1.6 litres and 3 cylinders of the G16E-GTS are more highly stressed than the 3.6-4.0 litres and 6 of the GT3 unit? And with other complicated oily bits that need looking after too.Twice as frequent servicing as a 911 GT3!
Where did you find that? Also what's the English name of that? Looks.... Polish?Trying this stuff out to stop the door windows freezing to the seals.

I can recommend Shiny Garage Seal Separator (if you can find it where you live) - it's a product designed for seal care and keeping seals from sticking to windows. Works great and it's quite cheap.
Sonax version should be this in English
Was recommended this by @Spaceman_GR4 - and it works brilliantly.Trying this stuff out to stop the door windows freezing to the seals.
