GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Today again a little bit different post, i wont be doing anything to mine, but we will be removing @Marcis GR Yaris GPF and replacing with an Ulter GPF delete pipe, will be installing Rally Flapz mud flaps and i also updated his navigation maps while it's here. As a lilttle bonus i always try to give back things better then i receive them so the car also got a little interior clean. Starting the swap and install in a hour or so, meanwhile maps are updating.

Also first time driving a manual GR Yaris, it feels more powerfull because you dont have to wait third of a second for the downshift, as you are always in optimal revs automatically with a manual, when you plant your foot it just picks up and goes, also got to try out iMT for the first time, i liked it, as i am not used to this particular gearbox, made the shifts smoother as i tried to be carefull with it being a clients car and all. But overall, i still prefer the ease of the automatic anyway, only thing i REALLY miss is the ability to rev at anytime while driving just by simply pushing the clutch and giving it some, especially with a nice exhaust like this. Putting in to N makes it awkward :ROFLMAO:

All right !

Lets get to it !

Well, @Marcis has driven the car after GPF delete, and he said he can feel the power that has been added because of this, sound is deeper as well.
Overall he seemed to be happy with the result :)

I'll make a very small video with the sound comparison, i had very little time for this so forgive me if it is not as through as previous ones, i also forgot the decibel meter on the after video 😅 😅 😅

Well here it is, not my best work 😓

Summer wheels now on, gave it a wash, requested a quote direct from Braid wheels on the new Rally2 wheels they launched yesterday (Fullrace Rally A FF) - If not silly money, they will be a Birthday present to myself.
These look awesome, curious what the pricing will be as Braid are normally pretty well priced.

Almost caught a deer just 5 minutes ago... :cautious:

Luckily i was paying attention, and luckily the Hilux with the trailer that was gaining on me slowly was as well, brake pedal went to the ground, horn was blasted, the silly animal put its legs in to high gear because of it, released the brake, floored it so that Hilux does not have to brake that hard and long, luckily the situation played out well.... If i was not paying attention, braked hard and used the horn, the way the deer was going, it would have made contact smack dab in the middle of the bumper/hood and possibly went over in the windshield and over the roof of the car. And like 2 minutes drive away from work as well.

Deer are the Pheasants of Latvia...

This finally made me order a dashcam, found Viofo A329, seems like one of the top for video quality, for a really good price brand new, just have to wait till 30. April.

If it make Sense with a Daily Driver - we will see

Done. It was a little tricky to mount the Bracket. The two Nuts that should hold the Bracket was welded on the Chassis.
I don't want to cut the Nuts off or heat it with a Heatgun. So i removed the Bolts and replaced it with 10mm longer ones
so i could mount the Bracket on Top of the Nuts. Also i have to cut of a Part of the Bracket, because it was rubing on a Water hose.
