GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Did some more sound recording this morning. And i can present the done video, in the end it is not completely to my liking, but given the equipment i received, i did the best that i could, unfortunately, some equipment that was necessary to record on the outside of the car while it is moving still did not arrive, and as i did not want to wait too long here it is, sometime in the future ill make a small feature movie with it properly recorded how i imagined it, probably when GPF delete comes.

Replaced Airtec catch with Golebys parts one, didnt like the mounting position. Found quite some waste in there. Never opened it before, but checked the dipstick and it didn't show this much few kkm ago.

Replaced my OEM Powerflex inserted mounts with Verkline ones.

Will see how they do when they settle in after few days, at the moment I feel like 007's Vodka Martini - shaken not stirred.
Do you havbe any experiences to share about the verkline mounts now that you've had them on your car for a few weeks longer?

Yesterday I had a chance to drive 150 Land Cruiser to haul some bigger cargo... Now I know how it feels to navigate an aircraft carrier. Potholes in that car are pure myth and propaganda, also any steering feedback/road feel is not needed for such ship. For first 15 minutes I was just laughing how ridiculous it felt, but obviously its proper off-roader so no wonder it floats. Hopping back to Yaris felt like reincarnation.

I love borrowing my dad's Hilux for exactly the same reason. It's a complete reset for the brain. Jumping back into the GRY afterwards is just a ridiculous contrast. Its divine ascension.

Showed it around my backyard…😉

Same with me but Citroen Jumpy/Dispatch, it isn't the slowest but still ridiculous difference, every time after driving it i love the Yaris even more.

Caddy wheelspins with 120hp out of the end of my road

In fairness, 120hp, not the best tires, and rear suspension from a stage coach probably will do that

If it has stock suspension there are river barges with better handling... I fitted custom Bilsteins to mine and it is decent. For a barge.

Had the CSC7 on for about 1,200km now and did a mountain run out and back going over 4 different range roads each way. Two serious climbs and two serious runs down the mountain. Across the top twice and two chunks of flowing tarmac that is posted 70 but strikes up a conversation at 100.

I have to say these tyres inspire a lot of confidence which was surely lacking with the V601s. I was hesitant getting Contis because my HSV VF GTS had 5Ps and my M2 had a stint with SCS6 and both times the tyre wasn't up to the weight or the heat. We haven't had crazy hot days since I fitted the tyres but in the mid to upper 30s so a reasonable test. Yes happy with these. Didn't want to go 245/40 but that is all that is available here unless I go for a private import.
