Looks terrifying, but I might give that a go!One of those ’caramel wheels’ for a battery drill maybe the tool for that job?

They really do work well. I tried one for the first time earlier this year and was amazed with the resultLooks terrifying, but I might give that a go!
Try a tar & glue remover first and if that fails, the caramel wheel will do the job.Bought it a new JDM-style (but UK legal) 2-line reg plate.
What's best for getting the old sticky pads off without damaging the paint?
Have bought both. Will wait until it warms up a little before attacking the bootTry a tar & glue remover first and if that fails, the caramel wheel will do the job.![]()

Which is funny because in Japan and Australia you can order the Morizo RR version which has the GR Yaris engine and drivetrain6 month wheel count (passed). There was another red GR (Circuit Pack) in getting serviced at the same time.
Took the chance to sit in a Lexus LBX. Feels like a grown up GR Yaris in a posh frock.
Thank you so much for your detailed report. So a bit of an update on my pheasant strike, when it happened the Toyota badge had popped out of the mount slightly but clipped back in. The grill that was cracked and with a hole in turns out had far more damage behind once the bumper was off.
This is what I knew had happened:

And this is what I found:

Fortunately it was all the same part that I replaced (cost £380ish), however the Toyota badge that I mentioned earlier turns out is cracked half the way round including 1-2 clips snapped. Fortunately it has a clip left and a screw holding it together.

Unfortunately that part comes with the badge and surround and from my brief look I think is going to be a further £370 although Toyota will get back to me tomorrow.
It is what it is and my last yaris was just tyres I spent on it so was about time something popped up. But the frustrating bit is the bumper will be coming off again! I was planning to change the horn at the same time but I pounced on an opportunity to get this done today rather than wait to order a horn so at least it wont all be a wasted effort.
Yes and under 50mph so the price for the badge is £615 so as it’s secure it can stay like that for now as it’s all behind the bumper. I might look to epoxy it when I next take the bumper off and worst case is I buy a new one.Thank you so much for your detailed report.
That pheasant was a big and heavy one for sure!![]()

I was blown away when I found out that Toyota made the concept into a buyable reality. Unfortunately it looks like Europe will be left out of it just like with the GR Corolla.
Very nice, congrats! It ain't all that if you're looking for a Lexus and used to driving a Lexus. More like a really nice GR Corolla. My wife's NX300h F-Sport is getting tired, so we went to look at this as a possibility. They let us take it for the day, but I brought it back in about two hours because we knew we wouldn't be buying it... Lexus told me that because so many people with high end cars also have a GR Yaris in the garage, it's more focused at Lexus owners as a second sporty car.
That said, if it were out when I bought the Yaris, I would have opted for this with the 8sp auto, instead. The AWD system is a little different with standard and a push button for 50:50. Fast like a Yaris, 0-100km/h in about 5.1". Clutch is a lot smoother than the Yaris, and the gearing is a lot better for the roads we have here. In the Yaris it seems like I'm always hunting for the right gear as traffic speeds up and slows down. Super annoying. With the RR, it was kind of always in the right gear. With the auto, I guess it wouldn't matter. It would be an awesome winding road cruise car. But for ¥7.1M out the door, it's optioned-out NX350h F-Sport money, so we went with that.
