Does anyone know the reasoning behind the UK cars not having these features
Because we don’t need them with our climate (I type this as it’s 7am and 12 degrees in December) and expect lightweight performance.

Good point, they might release a convertible version for the UK .

I would be really upset if I didn't get the heated seats and steering. I am used to cold weather being 10c, that is summer in Sweden.
And I use the heated seat to help with the backpain
My 31 year old back feels like 50y old sometimes haha

Have tried/installed any kind of lumbar support?
I'm aware of this guide
Buy the Recaro lumbar support "C 1631"
Test at what height you want it
Unclip the rubberband from under the seat (see next pic)
From these two white plastic hooks
Unclip the three plastic clips

but cannot find that part in the UK.
The only other similar part is an aftermarket alternative mentioned on the almost identical thread on the other forum, but it's on the expensive side. Most importantly, I would much prefer a part made by a reputable company rather than a no-name one.

Thought I would drive 25min to a servo that sells E85 fuel and try an E30 mix. Will test out some WOT a bit later on.

Got my local tyre guy to sort TPMS out and rebalanced my winter wheels while at it. A quick plug in to the OBD with his machine after scanning each corner TPMS and the AliExpress specials were working in no time.
It's struck me recently that, nearly 3 years into ownership, I still love the car and find every journey to be an event.
My other half does often comment that she thinks my car is possibly the most sedately driven GR Yaris there is. Tonight may well have confirmed that...
I was really enjoying making decent progress on the winding, wet B4068 in the Cotswolds; going quickly, feeling planted.
Then I realised that I was keeping pace with the vehicle ahead of me, and that felt good.
Until it struck me that the vehicle in front was an Asda click and collect van between deliveries.
Didn't make things better when we stopped at the traffic lights in Stow on the Wold and I clocked the "restricted to 56mph" sticker on its rear end :-(
On the way home I got overtaken by an S-Max

Looks good. I’d say it is worth picking up a second set of TPMS to save swapping them over. As it picks up both.I fitted my Winter wheels the other day.
Been missing these quite a lot and yes, they are absolutely filthy now but suit the car well in a Lancia Delta sort of way
I fitted the standard Toyota TPMS sensors and these got picked up straight away.

It's true. My usual daily is a Skoda Superb but that's been broken for over 7 months (DSG gearbox failure) so the Yaris has been in daily use since then.
Usually the enjoyment or "special-ness" of a car wears off after a while but that's not happening with the Yaris. Every trip feels special. I smile every time I walk towards it in the dark and it lights up to greet me. Whilst I do allow it to have its head on occasion - there's a time and a place - simply driving the car from A to B remains a real pleasure.
Trouble is, with retirement on the horizon I'm struggling to justify 3 cars (the missus has an MX5 but rarely drives) and 4 motorbikes considering we do about 5,000 miles total a year. Logic suggests consolidating to a family wagon that we both can drive, but the Yaris makes a compelling argument for being retained and making the missus get the bus
