GR Yaris The Latest on GR Yaris (UK waiting list)

Every year in the UK and Europe the requirments for ICE cars are getting tougher and tougher to meet thats why the GRC never came here and never will nor will any limited GRY sad times(n)

Stock has already started to drop a little - gone from circa 165 to144 in a week or so on Autotrader. As you say, best ones will be snapped up PDQ soon after a ‘no more’ announcement.
Down to just over 100 now…..and most of them still over £30K. So if you’re after one act sooner rather than later would be my advice.

Lots of people seem to be concerned about how many for sale like there is loads. There are more MK3 Focus RS's for sale on autotrader than GR's. They are also considered rare and don't have PCP's ending.

I wouldn’t say I’m concerned, far from it. Interested more like, good to know my daily driver is depreciating very slowly. We don’t seem to have a glut of 2 year old cars appearing at the dealers either.

Important and interesting as well I think these trends for those still pondering their route into GR Yaris ownership.

Fascinating to hear more MK3 Focus RS’s for sale on Autotrader, that’s an interesting comparison.

I just checked here and it’s a similar story. There are none for sale on the main secondhand site at the moment, and the few that I can find have definitely firmed-up in price over the last few months.

You were seeing early/high mileage cars dipping under €30k, now the cheapest are €35k and many are nudging €40k, with some, shall we say, “optimistic” sellers looking for close to €50k.

The demand/supply ratio has definitely shifted.

Now into the 90’s on Autotrader for circuit pack cars. Appreciate this is meaningless to most owners who intend to hold on to their cars but that’s a significant reduction compared to the 160+ a few months back.

I guess with last of the cars arriving and deliveries slowing the ‘flippers’ are few and far between now with cars settling down to long terms owners. Maybe a few on the waiting list have also now given up waiting and taken the plunge.

I had a look on the Listers website and they don't seem to have a single GR Yaris in their group stock whereas a few months ago they had maybe 5 or 6. They have 8 Supras though.

Steven Eagell group only have 1 and that is reserved.; they have 18 Supras.

The trend seems to be continuing. Number of circuit pack versions on Autotrader (UK) now tumbled down to just 87.

I’m not following specific cars but it’s clear some are selling pretty quickly at the moment and certainly more are being sold than coming up for sale. It was around 170 Circuit Pack cars 6 months or so ago (roughly where it peaked ) so there’s practically half as many for sale now.

Given where list prices are for most cars now, those having recently taken delivery are getting one hell of a bargain and this is undoubtedly propping up values, as well as obvious demand from those not so lucky or a bit late to the party.

I think the next 18 months will be really interesting regarding the value and real interest in our cars. Once Toyota announce they have stopped producing this model we will then see how important or Non important our cars are.
As posted previously, IMO our cars will hold their price. Being the last combustion engine homologation rally car made. To me, It's my daily drive that just makes me smile and never stops amazing me how capable the car is.

What is crazy is that the the sub £30k ones are basically the bumping into the top-end 1.5 hybrid models which are barely older/have fewer miles.

Now THAT says the GR is a bargain to me! Imagine paying the think end of 30 large for a cooking Yaris?!

Down to 87 cars (not including the cat s/c one)
