A rich mixture doesn't run down the cylinder walls and collect at the ring lands. It leaves the cylinder via the exhaust as excess hydrocarbons.
If you have a puddle of petrol sat on your piston and running past the rings you have a fault (such as a stuck open injector).

Fuel in oil is a very common problem with engines. I've taken advise from both Cosworth and Millers oils on this through the years. There is no stuck Injector anywhere. The car has done 5 + yrs , nearly 40Kin miles In my ownership. I'll suggest you do an oil analysis or two and then let's discuss as I have data from many other forum members cars over the years. Let's talk data and evidence here and not concepts.
If others like, they can take my suggestion based on the facts provided and that the new engine is essentially the same bored out to make it a 2.4. There is a lot of learning worth using and Covid made me realise it based on hugely changed driving patterns.

What causes fuel dilution?
A dirty or leaking fuel injector is one cause of fuel dilution.
A number of factors can cause fuel dilution, including…
Dirty or leaking fuel injectors
Excessive idle time
Incomplete combustion
Low engine temperatures
Frequent short-trip driving
Worn piston rings/excessive blow-by
Some applications are especially prone to fuel dilution. Police fleets, fire trucks and other emergency vehicles are great examples. Common conditions include short bursts of driving and long periods of idling.

Has anyone got a copy of the service schedule for the GR86 showing what is checked/changed etc at each point in its life ?
I’m guessing if you do less than 10,000 miles a year it goes:
Intermediate
Full
Intermediate + MOT
Full +MOT
Intermediate +MOT
etc etc
At some point spark plugs will need a change etc
Do we get a separate Service Booklet with the car

I got a service book - pics attached. I think it is specific for the GR models as it has the information for the Supra and Yaris as well as the GR86. There is a part number on the back of the book so hopefully people can get them.
Spark plugs every 6 years
Air filter 3 years
Fuel filter 8 years

The service plan I was was offered was to estimate my annual mileage (<10k in my case) and so choose as many alternating annual services as I wanted, £300 intermediate and £450 full. I went for 10 to get the max 10 year warranty, they turned it into a fixed direct debit of ~£30/month for 10 years. It can be cancelled for a small fee ~£25, or transferred to a new owner, and means the service prices are inflation proof. Hope this helps

I don't think they are from the service plan information I got but it was unclear as I was told all routine / recommended things would be done but come 6 years I think they would wriggle out of that. Vague.Thanks @LGN_83 , that’s exactly what I was looking for
Next question Zoo Company, are things like Spark Plugs , filters included in the service plan charges? Or additional ?

Thanks, does anyone have a redacted copy of the service plan documents they could share? I’m guessing is a generic TUK document
Just the cancellation fee I think.Signing up for a 10 year plan in these inflationary times seems like a good idea with no downsides unless I’m missing one

To be fair, I did rush the handover due to all the delays. Probably why I didn't get the toy and key box either, I just took the keys, signed the digital form thing and drove off

Mine was handed over blank. I was originally given the incorrect non-GR service book....checks glovebox... well there's another thing they couldn't be bothered to do properly! Mine is totally blank

I know what they change but wouldn't mind knowing how much they charge for oil and parts. I'd like to put Millers 0W-20 in it if I could. Have friends who track and really like the Millers stuff.
