Thank you all so much for the updates and thank you @AdamCrs for finding the guys business page.

Certainly is suspicious that it was sold last week. However I posted the video on the Nextdoor app and 2 people believe they’ve spotted the trailer parked up on a street 10 minutes away. When they checked again this morning it was gone but they recognised it by the damaged white Jag still being on top of the trailer. Im going to take a gander after work today to see if it’s there and speak to the neighbouring houses on if it’s familiar.

I’ve also submitted the V888 form off to DVLA to find out about the latest registered keeper. What I get back will be interesting, as I do wonder if I will indeed get all the up to date information if it was sold only a week ago. If that is the truth that is…

What an embarrassment the police are in this country now.

When one hears that the police force are understaffed, you can appreciate them being reluctant to go after lost causes but when presented with evidence such as video footage of the crime, information on the unscrupulous measures the culprit is going to to avoid being found and then assisting by providing further information of his potential whereabouts, the lack of action is a utter disgrace.

It's no wonder insurance costs have gone through the roof, given that there is likely no chance an insurer would recoup anything, with this state of affairs.

I actually used this incident as an example of how the country/world is going to the dogs. I believe it was to do with the recent hate crime laws introduced in Scotland. If you get burgled or your car stolen or vandalised don’t bother phoning the police just tweet something about old codgers and they’ll be around with the handcuffs.

And that’s when I realised I’d become an old codger myself.
