GR86 GR86 - What wheels and tyres are you thinking about?

Alternatives to the Bola's, both with GR86 specific fitments:

Titan 7 - TS-5 (Only available as a 9" wide wheel size):

Apex - VS5-RS (Only available as a 17" wheel, at the moment):

Both sets of wheels can be ordered through Tegiwa.

Both really nice alternatives, had been tempted to get Titan 7's for my GT86 previously, however probably will be more expensive since the Bola's are made in the UK and shipping would be fairly pricey.

Not sure that 9" are going to reach the ground though 😏

These alloys are stunning:

I will use the original black wheels as a winter set. I have just ordered Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 tyres for them.

I am not sure yet what I will get for the summer. At the moment I like the BBS XR bronze a lot. They would also cause no problems with the German technical inspection agency. Here is a photo edit to get an idea:

White wheels should also go well with electric blue. Well, there are not much options available in Germany that I could easily use without further hassle. The ATS Streetrallye might be an option. They also have the same dimensions as the original wheels so I could reuse the original tyres with them. And additional bonus points for the fact that they look very similar to the much more expensive OZ Superturismo WRC.
Another edit:

ProTrack One's could also be an option @Shoggy and are similar to the ATS wheels. They are a similar size to the OEM wheel and TUV certification. I know they offer them in White in order fitments:

Thanks for the link. Looks interesting but since it it so close to the ATS wheels, I guess I would still go with them because a wheel costs only a bit above 200€ and I could use the original tyres with it. The ATS wheels are also available in some other colours - unfortunately not in bronze which is still the color that I would prefer.

The white wheels maybe scream a bit too much for attention and I guess keeping them clean will be an endless nightmare. On the other side it is quite unique and you do not see much cars with that combination on the street. Difficult decision...

On my list for bronze wheels that should cause no problems are also:

TOMASON TN25 Super Light
Motec MCR2 Ultralight
Sparco DRS
Sparco Record

Edit: just had to mount the Record onto it in my virtual workshop.

This was just shared on one of the Facebook groups.

Approx 3 degrees front camber

17x9.5 +44 with 255/40/17 tires. 10mm spacer up front, lowered on coilovers and moderate track alignment. Rear might need a touch more camber but might not need to trim
🤞

They are Rays TE37s, looks like some sort of special edition version.

EDIT: wrong wheels! The ones on the blue car.

I wonder if we can buy them?
I think there has been a link to them in this thread (I'm too lazy to bring it back round) but they were expensive because they're forged. If you really want them, there will be a way to procure them though.
