Nope. Went through no problem. Car was only 18 months old with 3,800 mls, paintwork was immaculate (CCd & PPFd), as were the forged alloys with an almost new set of Michelin All Season (CC2) rubber. The dealership was super-impressed as they had never seen a KonaN 'in the flesh' before. I think they sold it within the week for a £3k profit. Impending new registrations always lower the valuations - it was one reason for me selling early.
Yup, most cars are lucky to retain half of their showroom value over 3 years. Some depreciate more than others of course. I was a gnat's baw hair away from buying a Ghibli a few years ago too (Phew! lucky escape).
We've got a Jaguar ePace... Had it MOT'd yesterday and the tester was raving about it... I'll advertise it myself , I can't do any worse than the offers I'm getting

69 plate 20 Model Year 150 manual ePace... LED dash, heated screen, heated seats, wifi, we've done 32k miles now (higher than we'd normally do as we've been back and to between home and Manchester for SWMBO's hospital treatment) but the car's in great condition... she's doing around 50-55mpg which I think is great for a 2.0 diesel. It's the E6 Adblue engine and (touches wood) it's been faultless...

You can always accept, get a proper test drive in, then if you're still not set on getting the car you can cancel your order.
Yes, that seems to make sense. I had my test drive in Croydon and have just asked for one at Tunbridge Wells. A much better environment to drive in so hopefully I can be more objective.
It was just an awful experience. Keys given to me with no introduction to the car, straight into busy traffic, hot day and air con off, petrol so low I returned it with a range of 8 miles after feathering it all the way back (I only travelled about 15 miles!), Found the clutch iffy, accelerator was like an on/ off switch. Combine all of the above and join my nightmare.
You're not the only one to find that. I know the one I drove was fine. A friend and I both drove it and I didn't even think about the accelerator or clutch, they were just fine. Make sure on the next test drive (if you didn't last time) to wear footwear that doesn't numb your senses (slim trainers as opposed to boots etc). Unless it's an issue only affecting some cars.

I wasn't given a time limit for my unaccompanied drive... It was wet so took it easy and went back after about 45 mins...

I was actually conscious that the car had only done around 50 miles (and was sold) and I didn't go over 4k revs
