I looked at that, but the quoted weight was less than the standard one, I’m looking for a heavier one

I have a forged carbon one available.

Agree. Really weighty and make throwing the gearstick easier. Bloody cold in the Winter mind - expect it'll be like touching lava in the Summer

It's arrived. Fitted and the driveway shifts feel good so far! The weight definitely makes it smoother into gears than the stock knob. Will give it a proper test later today. Fit is perfect. View attachment 13799

Unfortunately @RDMsport doesn't seem to have been active for over a year. Shame, as I was interested in that knob. Hope he's okay, maybe he's just sold his car and moved on.

That is a shame. Never mind. On with the search. Raceseng Nitro is top at the moment.

Has anyone got Raceseng gear knob in their GR86? And did you fit their Reverse Lockout (needed)? I want to get one and the fitting looks straightforward on their video, but does require some trim removal. Was it as easy as it looks?

2 knobs to try - changed from beatrush to to an ebay special TRD one as it got too hot. Both give a slightly shorter throw, the ebay special comes with a lockout bolt.
Stock Weight = 200G

Beatrush WEIGHT = 155G

EBAY TRD Special WEIGHT = 158G

I'm looking for a replacement at the moment. I'm concerned about the knob getting too hot, so am considering a Raceseng Nitro or Traction, but their reverse lockout won't be back in stock until next month . And they are expensive so not sure I can justify the price. So am looking at a Billetworkz hybrid. Something very different but under half the price.

My car sat locked up in the baking heat all day today. The BilletWorkz knob was only mildly warm to the touch. If I think it may get too hot, I have one of those little hoodies from AE to put over it (which is now in place).
