Solid aluminium would be nice. Our MX5 has one and I loved it in the Puma and EP3 Type-R.

Someone in the US fitted the auto one and said it’s quite a bit heavier than stock and felt v nice. I think Fensport will have stock it

I thought the exact same when I saw it today, weighted to aid shift feel too apparently. Hopefully the same thread pitch, if so I’ll probably get one.

Spoke to my dealer about a few extras to see whether I should wait or just order from abroad. The GR manual gear knob should be available by the end of September, priced at £140.18 (ex-VAT). Think I’ll be ordering from the states or Japan!

I posted this in my build thread but thought i post here too if you all dun mind.

40mm Delrin. CNC Lathed. Final pass with red ScotchBite. I have the CAD if anyone want to diy. Tried making it as short as i can but its only about <10mm shorter than stock. Shifter shaft is almost at the top of the knob.

A thin nut at the bottom as a jam nut. Had a previous knob on my evo start twisting on track previously, not fun.
