Its tricky, if it was a dark colour it would be a simple silver wheel. But Im thinking something like a smoked chrome, lighter anthracite or grey metallic, I want gloss finish too. ps good effort on the miles, mine is still on 1700 after 4 months, working from home doesnt help the commuter mileage!

My confession:

I've never used the cruise control.

Nothing surprising about that, but more confession-worthy is that I genuinely forgot we had it!

I never used it on my GR86 either.

In fact I passionately hate cruise control and everything about it. Up to and including this.

I tried it once, to check it worked, but not since. I don't hate it, but tend to never use it. I did use the adaptive cruise control a fair bit in the Supra when I had it. I think when the car is auto, and it'll speed up and slow down when you're in a queue of traffic, then it was pretty handy. Now I'm back in a manual I don't miss it though.
 
I miss start&stop. I think it should come on manual cars. I don't think weight penalty is that much

The AC temperature seems to be off (19C seems more like 22C)

Have never used it on any of my cars, and would not spec it if it was possible to do so😉
 
Two weeks in, 550 miles, not one on a motorway.

I haven’t used cruise control
I haven’t used track mode
I haven‘t had to use the lights
I have set off one speed camera (32 on my display 😆)

I keep on getting excited delivery drivers asking about the car, and I’ve had a few lads in Fiestas hang out the windows with thumbs up.

It's annoying. In track mode you only get the lap timer and the figures for oil and water. Tyre pressure would be beneficial too. I've also noticed sometimes when you switch between modes the volume display shows briefly which has nothing to do with it.
 
Not sure if this confession will get me thrown out of the forum but I feel I need to get it off my chest as a sinner!
Here goes... I've yet to really gel will the 86, Im a long way off falling in love with it, I hoped to have been smitten but its not happened yet (1800 miles/5 months)... I havent done a proper cross country blast like Wales or similar which might be what I need to bond properly. I cant put my finger on it (though I do hate the throttle mapping but I've asked Toyota to look at this next week), just something not adding up yet 😣

Hope this changes as the test drive I did in the demo car I loved and didnt want to take it back, at the moment Im not fussed with mine :cry:

Mine has improved over the miles, its not one of the greats (Civic Type R/Porsche) but better than most for me, its 'acceptable' :-)
