Time for new disks and pads (or just time to buy them to have in the garage more so), after a couple of years and 22k miles, and I have contemplated all options.
For me, the car will never see a track, it commutes in all weathers in salty southwest Scotland and is no garage queen, as it's parked outside as the garage has bikes in it.
The car only ever does some fast country road driving, motorway jaunts or Euro trips (more of those in the planning).
So, balance of outgoing to benefit - I went with the following from Brembo -
Front disks - 09.A921.1X with pads - P.78.021X
Rear disks - 09.C662.1X with pads - P.78.018 (no x pads available for the rear)
I went with the Xtra range as the Sport range is still showing on websites as 'in development' for the GR86.
After some code cross referencing, I sourced the above from Autodoc for £330 delivered. This was just about buying something a little better than OEM.
Will report back when fitted.
I also have some higher quality Dot 4 and 5.1 brake fluids in the garage, just contemplating braided houses from either HEL or EBC but I am not really sure if I will ever feel the benefit of that investment, albeit only around £100.
