GR86 GR86 - Brake Upgrade Guide

I'd like to double check, if I want to take mine on a track day and I have some MX72+'s on the original (under 10k mile) disks this should be fine? I'm no racing driver and it'll be my first real track day (probably at Brands Hatch).
Has anyone got an instructor to go with them before? is it worth it? I feel like I'm a competent driver but there's a difference between competent and driving near the limit (whilst also avoid it and binning the car).

If the discs are not worn to min thickness then you’ll be fine. Consider changing fluid too to something like RBF 660. Those pads will be more than good enough. If the car is stock then consider adding some front camber if you can, your tyres will thank you.

If there’s an instructor available (usually free for a short session) definitely go for it.

Main thing on the day is to keep an eye on tyre pressures, keep sessions short and make sure you have a proper cool down lap.
