GR Yaris (Gen 2) GR Yaris Mk2 (MY2024->)

I started having a strange noise in the belt area of the engine... I think it's that area and not a rebound... it's hard to hear it from the video but I'll try putting it on... in addition to the ticking of the injectors there is a deeper noise... is that it... I thought the belt tensioner or timing chain but I only have 8000km... it seems strange to me... has anyone read anything around? or know what it could be?

Suspect the engine is about to go bang

But is there a reason why the water pump is on the service belt (external) and not on the chain? I haven't seen this solution for a long time...

My GR86 is in for 1st MOT and service. Was good to sit in one of these and good to know rear seats do go fully flat. More space than I thought.

If I could fit pair of 176cm skis without completely hampering driving position then it can fit everything

Yeah, I can get my (large) road bike in there no problem, just have to take the front wheel off which is pretty normal.

I had something like that for a while but two months (or whatever) goes by remarkably quickly and in reality the things inevitably always needed recharged.

Thanks to the shape of the boot and fact there’s only the flimsy fabric cover, there’s no ideal place to put a light either.

I did buy a few 12 V components (fuse carrier, IR motion sensor, and a small light) with the intention of permanently wiring something off the battery, but being a lazy git I’ve never gotten around to actually wiring it all up.

This:

One for your bathroom, one for the trunk. Works perfectly, charge every 2 months…

Ingenious!😉
I also installed something similar but I was looking for something "ingenious" that is, connected to the electrical system and that activates when you open the trunk..

Actually it wouldn't be a bad idea since the battery is right there

Wait, what?! Now I have to get this thing! All that EU crap doesn't really bother me – I've learned to ignore all those speed limit beeps and I just don't hear them anymore, but that handbrake warning is seriously annoying when you’re trying to have some fun in winter...
I worked with someone who did that in a new Transit.
Fed up with the bonging all the time he ignored it, only this one time it tried to keep informing him 'no key detected'! He left it on site 40 mins away.
Only realised when he turned it off and it wouldn't restart. 😂

I have received my fueltank undercovers from Amayama. Did nothing with eori at checkout.
Hi! Can you take some pictures of the parts and with the serial numbers by the way! Thank you very much
Do you already install them?

The parts are listed earlier in the thread a few times.
Yes I know and the video too. But I want the real one that one that come impress on the part itself without generic numbers or the ones of the website. Even between Amayanma or Yoshiparts numbers are totally differents. The one impress on the part is the good one. Cause I see everyone knows the numbers But nobody can find a single part...
Plus some pictures of the parts is no Big deal to nobody. Just more info for the members.
