GR Yaris (Gen 2) GR Yaris Mk2 (MY2024->)

Details of pricing in JPN

ModelMk1 MYenMk2 MT6 Myen (price inc.)Mk2 AT8 MYen (Price inc.)

RZ3.964.48 (113.1%)4.83 (122%)
RZ High Performance4.564.98 (109%)5.33 (116.9%)

Is that the original MKI price or the adjusted price that came in later June 2022 iirc? edit: That's the OG pricing, I don't think Japan had a price increase.

I still think there isn't going to much change from the 6MT MK2 from 40k.

Maybe my opinion will change when I see one in the flesh, but atm I'm still happy to stick with my MK1.

Yep I'm happy to stick with mine now, but if it does end up being 42 ish for an auto I think I'd maybe consider swapping..

To be honest, in the demo stuff I've seen so far it doesn't look that much faster than the MK1 especially with that clearly sandbagged carwow test.

Nice expensive MK2 to keep those MK1 residuals high ;)

Belgian prices:

manual: 48630
auto: 51270
premium pack (heated seats/steering wheel, parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, jbl sound system: 1590
premium pack + forged bbs wheels 3.990
colors
plain white: included
antracite, black: 650
white/red: 975
So 2570€ more than what I see as the cost on my preorder confirmation in France, not including CO2 tax (🙈)
Interested to know if I will have heated seats and wheel in France this time around.

Rovanpera and Ogier edition were allocated yesterday for Belgium (1 each), 73k

The 'new' Yaris will be limited to 150 pieces for the Belgian market apparently
Interesting to see an example price for the special editions. I did consider if I should try to get an Ogier edition, but the price difference is not worth it in my opinion and based on the new owners manual, the matt paint sounds like a pain to take care of. Hopefully the rear spoiler will be available as a bolt on for the standard car

i thought prices were supposed to be less in Belgium than in France, I saw those prices quoted for Belgium a few days ago but I am unsure whetehr they have been verified. I spoke to a lady at Toyota in Belgium today and the Gr has not yet been put on sale or pre- order.

Read also now in the manual - sounds like the matte finish is not the easiest to keep looking nice- maybe best to do full wrap (with matte finish?). Beauty does not always come easy (if ever).

How these prices compare to the mk1 was still on sale in Belgium?

I had a call from a rep at my local dealership (Listers) this afternoon. No new details on pricing, ordering, or availability but they were very apologetic and said they'd had a few upset people contacting them in search of info 😬

You can always do a full PPF to protect that mat paint. Hexis Bodyfence or XPEL have Mat / satin PPF available. All the advantages of a good PPF without the inconvenience of that exposed mat paint.

Same with my dealer, no info at all. I needed to explain 3 times I want GR Yaris not Yaris GR Sport.

Manual states you shouldn't put any wrap over it, but that might just be them protecting themselves.

I don’t know how people can get upset. Toyota UK have been very clear. Pricing and spec information available in March. Not the 1st of March. March. Also some people thinking it meant the books opened on the 1st 🙄

The people upset only have themselves to blame for misunderstanding the clear communication.

Totally agree with you.
At the same time I think that it's March now, and Toyota UK (and Toyota Italy, Germany, and so on) should already know by what day infos about prices, specs, and pre-order opening date will be made available to the public.
By being still so secretive at this point, they are making life a bit more complicated for the dealers, that are inevitably the main target of the many "serial misunderstanders" out there.

Price for high performance version was 38940, Hi-pack version was 36940 euro.
Were these prices the initial ones in Belgium?
Here in Italy we started from 40k euros for the first few months since the launch (only Circuit version had been sold here) and got to 46k euros since 2023.

I think its because we assume they know, it was very clear back in 2020 that the communication between Toyota JPN, Toyota UK and the dealers was not very good and quite often we were finding out on the internet days before dealers / UK office were being told. It would seem this has not changed in 4 years.
